 We have had 5 nights at Folly Farm. Lovely view from were we were sited.
Beautiful walks in the woods and the sight of red kites flying over head was magic.
Toilets and shower were ok. Richard was very welcoming. We paid £10 a night with electric hook up.
If in area again would use Folly Farm again

We have use this site half a dozen times as a peaceful base to visit friends in Oxford. It is still fairly inexpensive, though prices have risen steadily, and we agree that it has lovely views and plenty of space.
The dreadful state of the toilets (one male and one female) has been addressed to some extent, BUT during our stay this time there were 12 units on the site despite the CL limit of 5.
We have found ourselves another site!

This site is in a beautiful position in the countryside outside Oxford, very quiet and peaceful. Plenty of space for children to run about. The hookups, waste disposal are all acceptable and probably good for a small inexpensive site. The downside was the poor toilets and shower. They were not being maintained or kept clean. The owner needs to go into the hut on a regular basis to check on light bulbs, litter on the floor, cisterns not working etc
The nearby village had what looked like a good pub advertising food although we did not try it out
