Stayed for 2 nights in late August. Having read previous reviews I had my best French ready on arrival - just as well, as the gentleman on reception during our stay only spoke Flemish and a little French. We got by just fine with a little readiness on my part to try the basics in French.
This site is small and doesn't feel modern. Facilities very clean but old/ dated, no charge for showers. No site extras such as play area etc, just a few basic items incl cold beer sold at reception. Each pitch is divided by hedging and has water on tap. As suggested by a previous reviewer, we did turn right not left on arrival so were away from the main road to keep noise down. However nearby water park had a late-night event with music till 11pm on the first night - it didn't worry us too much though.
Tournai can be reached by bus - bus-stop is just outside site opposite water park, but buses run at best half-hourly. We caught the bus in, then walked back along the river. Pleasant walk back, though did take a good 35 mins. Note - free car parking in Tournai on Saturday afternoons. We found the town attractive but rather uninspiring, but maybe we were just unlucky on a gloomy cool late summer weekend.
Convenient site as a stop-over, and great for access to Dunkerque/ Calais.

Stayed for 3 nights. Site was easy to find and is next door to a water park. There are 50 pitches, all grassed and with high laurel hedging all around them giving lots of privacy. The site is very well kept and tidy. There is water, electric, and grey waste on each pitch. Wifi is free and we struggled to get a signal but when we did (only up against the window on one side of our motorhome!) it was good. Total cost for 2 adults, 3 dogs in a motorhome for 3 nights was 45 euros. The site owners don't speak any English but don't let that put you off as they were very helpful. Tournai was 3km which we easily walked in 35 mins. We spent an enjoyable couple of days exploring Tournai. There was a vet in the main square who was happy to do our pet passports without an appointment, we just walked in off the street. We will definitely return. There were a couple of resident cats on the site, which our dogs hated unfortunately! There was no club house or children's play area.

I stayed for one night and have to say the only bad experience was with the very abrupt and for me rude guy in reception who when asked if he spoke English he bleated NO! Belgium francais so bad start however it only got better from that point.
For two adults electric and motorhome €16. 40 WOW and free showers free dog and free WiFi.
The pitches are set out very neatly with bushes separating each one, grass cutting really short just excellent.
It's a good walk from the town I think I read someone say 15mins well that must be In a cab as it's 15mins to the main road where you will find some restaurants
Deffo worth a stay for a peaceful night once the water park next door closes.

We had a one night stop here
The site is very tidy, high hedges separating pitches
There is a Chinese takeaway/restaurant a few minutes walk away on main road. We didn't go into the town
Toilet/shower block ok
Next door is a waterpark (didn't visit), so was a bit noisy until early evening
But there was a lot of road noise from cars/motorbikes. Just on the other side of the (thick) hedgerow was a path along the road, so people only a few feet away.
If was going again would camp at the other end of site away from the roundabout
16 euros for 2 adults (electric compulsory)

Campsite on the edge of town, 5-10 minutes walk from the cathedral and town square. There is also a indoor shopping centre less than 5 minutes walk away.
Pitches are all separated by high hedges, we found then a generous size, more then enough room for car, caravan and awnings. Each has own ehu, water tap and waste water drain. No wifi on site.
The toilets and showers were old but more than acceptable. Kept immaculately clean with plenty of hot water and no push buttons.
We didn't use the pool next door or the very large park area - looked great but weather was wet and cold so we missed that. We found the town to be brilliant, plenty of good shops - enough to occupy a good day. Then there are numerous old buildings, some Unesco listed, a canal runs through the town with a walkway along one side.
The receptionist at the site was lovely, spoke good English and very helpful. On leaving she gave us a packet of Belgian biscuits - nice touch.
For us this was a great town campsite, easy walk into town yet parked up on the edge where it was quiet. We paid €15. 50 per night with ehu and incl. Showers.

Good; showers and toilets
own electricity and water
lots of shops [ big shopping centre]
huge swimming pool and lake next to it
Bad; very small pitches
the surrounding are a bit scruffy
not much to do in the area, good for overnight stop
We had 3 nights here, but after visiting the town which is quite nice, fantastic cathedral but then struggled to find something to do. We found a nice bike ride a few miles away around a big lake but ride signs were hopeless.
