 Caravan and Camping Club members only.
Simple site, simple facilities.
Quiet at night.
Worked just fine for our mid journey, brief overnight.
5 level, unmarked pitches, each with electric hook up, within spacious, grass field.
Camping field is adjacent to a field with a couple of ponies and open farm land, beside traditional, old fashioned pub on country road on the outskirts of Poole/Bournemouth.
Neat waste bins - including dog waste bin - to the side of field site.
Chemical toilet disposal and fresh water available beside pub.
Both areas and pub garden cheered up by colourful flowers in tubs.
Pub's toilet facilities and wash hand basins are available via gated pub garden when the pub is open and whilst staff are setting up for opening. Toilet facilities are simple, old fashioned, pub type but perfectly functional and clean.
No showers.
Check in within pub.
Friendly proprietors though we only saw them on arrival and departure.
Dogs allowed in pub on lead
Pub serves hot food but none available on Mondays, the night we stayed so pub not tried.
The night we stayed we shared the field with two other motorhomes (both very neat but seemingly momentarily empty) and a family holidaying in their caravan who were returning for their second visit.
Ratings take simplicity into account and we had no children though caravanning family did. No designated children's play area which was just fine by us ;-) Don't know about child friendliness within pub. Suggest calling to ask.
Cost for 6 metre motorhome as at Aug 2015: £15 inc electricity.
