 Stayed here for a few nights a couple of years ago on a stop over to Munich. Good location on the riverbank not far from the town centre.
Campsite was not well signposted when we went, we drove past it a few times though things may have changed since, or it may be easier with a satnav.
Good, clean facilities, well it is Germany! and great prices. Nice grass pitches, though I think there may be hard standings by now. Friendly staff on hand to help with ice packs, maps etc.
Nice walk into town over the bridge and definitely a good place to visit. Good shops, bars, Roman tours etc. We've also been to Trier for the Xmas markets and can recommend. We were lucky enough to be there for the local beer festival, worth trying to catch if you are in the area.
