Arrived in atrocious weather, Entrance a bit tight for big vans. Moray very helpful, lent us extra power cable to reach our pitch. Always busy with site and waste bins.
Ideal situated CS site for local mini market, and just 20 minute walk into Southwold. Nice little strolls on site especially for sunsets! Peace and quiet and we heard our first cuckoo.
Highly recommend this site and only £17 a night.
Will defo return for another visit.

Lovely quiet well maintained site. Nice mowed area for dog walking. Walked into Southwold which is lovely.
Really nice walk across the footbridge into Walberswick Which is a very pretty village.
Nice pubs. Foot Ferry back. Lovely Friendly owner.
Would definitely come back.

A little gem! Hidden down a country lane.
Far enough from the madness and pretentious visitors to southwold, yet walking distance if one needs too.
Ehu, water and eslan, it's all you need if you have your own facilities. Excellent peaceful site, top marks.
Will return if ever in the area again.

What a lovely quite site, set in lovely grounds.
There are no toilet or shower facilities here but that matters not if you have your own.
Very helpful and friendly owner when I rang.
Water and electric hook ups are here.
25 minutes walk into the beautiful Southwold, however if you don’t want to walk there seems to be a bus outside the campsite.
We loved it here and will come back.
Please don’t change anything 😂

Fab little site. Grass kept short & water & disposal point available.
Full 16amp hook up but make sure you have an extra long lead as you may be quite away from the power point.
Will definitely be returning!

Just returned from a 4 night stay at this site. Reasonably priced due to basic facilities. Site is in the orchard near to the owners house.
Lady owner very pleasant and offered us an ordnance survey map whilst we were there. 25 minute walk into lovely Southwold. Slightly shorter walk to the beach.
This is one of only 2 sites in Southwold and the other one did not have good reviews. A little bit wet on the grass but overall a very nice basic site as
Long as you have your own van facilities. Shop nearby. Very tranquil site.

Back to basics (no showers/toilets) CS so own sanitation essential.
Ideally located for Southwold, being a 25min walk to the beach & pier, 15min to the town and a great alternative to the council run site which is the only other option in Southwold.
If you don't like the idea of walking to the beach or town, cycling is popular in the area, with plenty of quiet roads, and cycle routes in the areas, as well as cycle hire (next to the fire station) in Southwold.
Opposite the site is a recreation ground with children's park (handy as there is nothing for kids on site), and there is a local shop which stocks locally sourced produce about 200M down the road.
The owners will help with any reasonable request and are knowledgeable on things to do locally if you need ideas. They keep out of your way, but are there if you need them.
The site is next to the road, however it is rarely used so traffic noise is not an issue.
Hook up is full 16A, but we found TV signal week so a good aerial or satellite system is needed. Good 3G mobile coverage.
The only issue we had was access was a little tricky for our large twin axle unit. The entrance is on a narrow lane with sharp turn up a small slope, through a gate. Once on the site, it’s best to plan your exit when pitching up as if someone is opposite you, turning around could be an issue as the site is narrow in places.
A trip to the top of the lighthouse, a pint of Adnams, and a visit to the 'Under the pier show' are things not to be missed.
