Warm welcome, family run small site. Clean and well maintained site. Well located, 5 minutes to Portrush, small supermarket, Lidl and takeaways, but still in quiet rural location.
Easy access to coast road and 20mins will get you to a lot of the major sites and beautiful beaches.
I would happily to back again.

This place is easy to find. Is well sign posted too. There are two showers and a toilet block. Which is adequate for the size of the place as it is small. The cost of £7. 50 is reasonable for one person. The farm yard is a horse riding facility. There are noisy birds like peacocks and ducks here and the worst type at 5am in the morning the dreaded Cockrell. Nothing that a good set of soft ear plugs can't put right though. There is traffic noise also from the A29. It is definitely not the quietest campsite I have been to. But the small area they use for campers is a nice spot.

Excellent all round site, good level hardstandings very friendly owner, a good base to discover the 'Causway Coast' with excellent restaurants in Port Rush, if you like horses all the better the site is next to a very good equestrian centre. No negative points at all in my opinion.

We have just returned from a 2 night stay in maddybenny. This is a lovely site in the country, but just a 5 min drive to the main road, which is handy if your heading out for the day.
The farm was very clean for a working farm. There are 2 farm toilets which are what you expect, but also 2 clean and tidy modern shower rooms. There are plenty of recycling and refuse bins, with waste disposal.
There is also a lovely play park for the kids.
The pitch was flat, clean and the pegs went into the grass easily with no stones in the ground. We had water and ehu.
The views across the country were gorgeous, the ducks, peacocks and the other animals on site were very friendly. The birds walk around freely, but are not a nuisance. Because we were in the country, there is noise from the birds, but this all adds to the atmosphere in the camp.
The campsite has 12 pitches, there is good space between each pitch which again was great for us.
I would have no hesitation in recommending maddybenny, we had a lovely stay here.

Maddybenny is a working farm with a campsite, a playground and some holiday cottages. It seems to be mostly an Equestrian Centre. I went as a solo camper with friends and I pitched my tent amongst the trees, had a water tap yards away and had plenty of room for sitting out with my friends. I have read previous reviews that said there was no hard standing for caravans, well there is now. They have obviously put a lot of work in to developing this campsite over a few years. We were lucky with the weather and enjoyed being close to the amenities of Portrush including a Lidl a mile down the road. The campsite itself is in the country 1 mile out of Portrush with horses in fields all around. The location is stunning with views down the valley. On the other side of the valley is a main road but the road noise does not reach the campsite. There are guinea fowl, peacocks and ducks roaming freely on site which was lovely. A farm building adjacent to the campsite has been converted into facilities for campers, three toilets all unisex. One of them is a large disability access room with shower/wetroom in one corner and loo and sink in the other. Very family friendly. I will definitely return to Maddybenny.
My only comment is to the owners. It's nice now, don't over develop it.

Great little site on a farm / riding stable set in the countryside about 1. 5 miles from Portrush, with a super market about a mile away. We used a large family tent and it fitted in amongst the trees, the ground was relatively flat and easy to insert pegs. There is adequate hard stand car parking. The site has a play ground for the youngsters, a games room and various ducks and chickens running about. I would recommend this site.

We went up to Portrush for Halloween and camped in Maddybenny with the family. We had a great time, and the kids really enjoyed being in the farm environment. They had chickens, ducks, ponies and a Donkey, we took the kids pony trekking twice and they loved it. The site is lovely and private with fantastic views over the north coast and access to lovely gardens. When we were there they were building a new shower block, and we're planning to visit Maddybenny again in the summer!

Not good, no hard standing, sharing electric hook up with trailing cables, no water at grass pitches, one stand pipe for all. Facilities were converted out buildings and not very well done either. Plus points secluded area. Really needs a lot of investment to bring it up to scratch. No grey water disposal point. Really in its infancy re a caravan park. Priced on the same level as the good ones. Only really worth £15. 00 per night. Cannot recommend a stay here for the price they charge. PITY could have been good
