We've just had an excellent week at this lovely little site. It's located on a working farm and there is easy access from the main A470 as well as pedestrian / cycle access from the quiet lane at the back of the site.
It's all hard-standing with grass in between and, ok it's not a bowling green, but the grass is not overly long. All pitches have electric and are mainly fairly flat. We didn't use chocks but our neighbour did.
We did not find the main road noisy or intrusive as the site is down a gentle slope and hidden by a hedge.
There are two loos in a small stone building adjacent to the water taps and septic disposal (on the right just after the cow barn as you come down the drive) as well as two showers which are on the edge of the main building. The showers are a good size and, while they may not be located in fancy all singing & dancing edifices, they work well with plentiful hot water; the showers are 50p for 5 mins which is more than long enough.
The Taff Trail is about a 15 minute walk from the back of the site:go across the camping field just below the farm buildings, turn right at the end of the buildings and follow the path to the footbridges over the river; when you get to the lane, turn right over the stone road bridge and take the footpath just up the road on the left. Follow this for a few minutes til you get to a sign for the Taff Trail on the right).
The river was an unexpected delight - so pretty - don't miss it. We spent a fair bit of time standing on the footbridges watching the water come over the stones.
It's a 2 mile walk into Brecon by the back lane (narrow but quiet)or a 5 minute drive on the main road.
There are lots and lots of walks that can be done from the site and I recommend getting the OL12 OS map to get the most from this beautiful area.
Lastly, Id like to say thankyou to the site owners - we really had such a wonderful peaceful week and I hope we will return in the not too distant future.
This site is a perfect CL.

Great site perfect for motorhomes. Quiet and rural. Good hard-standings with electrical hook-ups which were well-separated from other campers. Our pitch had green views from every window. Site next to powerful river so never let children out of your sight. Surrounded by good walking from site - short walk to thunderous waterfalls. Short drive to stunning scenery of Brecon Beacons and Brecon for supplies. Two showers (50p for 5 mins) and two WCs, adequate with modern tiling but a bit outdoorsy with spiders and such so needed a good spring clean. Easy water fill-up for motorhomes. Adequate chemical waste disposal and rubbish collection. We booked two nights and ended up staying for 5!

We used this site has a base to walk up Pen y Fan Mountain. Spacious pitches (Hardstanding) with electric hook up. Toilets and Showers(50p for 5 mins) were adequate. There was also chemical waste disposal and drinking water taps. There is a river flowing at the bottom of the site, surrounded by woodland. This is a working Farm, situated just off the main road, but really didn't hear much traffic during our stay. For £12 a night, it is good value.

We like this site, others may not.
The good points:
Very easy access directly from the A470. A couple of potholes on the tarmacked drive down a slight slope, but nothing too bad. Watch out for the sharp left hand turn into the CL field.
2 clean loos and 2 showers which cost 50p for 8 minutes.
Plenty of space between units.
A lovely situation and very relaxed atmosphere.
The bad points:
The grass is too long.
The bin area could be a lot better; there is a huge skip for all recycling and various other bins in a rather nettly/weedy enclosure with no signage as to what goes where. Nowhere for bottles which are just dumped in the enclosure next to the bins.
Don't let the above put you off, it's a great area, and only about a mile from Brecon for supplies (Morrisons and Co-op). The main roads are good so it's easy to get to such lovely places as the waterfalls and caves, Llangorse Lake etc. There are plenty of walks to suit all abilities.
A very reasonable place to eat out is Bishop's Meadow, about a mile outside Brecon on the road to Hay.
In addition to the CL, there is also a camping field (no EHU), where camp fires are allowed. At the end of this field there is a path which takes you to footbridges over the river Tarrell and it's tributary; you can walk along the bank from here and there are places to swim. It's lovely.
12 pounds per night which we think very reasonable.

This was the only site we have used in Wales as it is our first year caravanning.
The site was easy to find and very accessible from a good main road but far enough away from the main road for traffic not to be an issue save for a few noisy motorcycles fitted with non compliant silencers (I'm a biker too!).
The site itself is divided into 2 sections. One caters for 5 CC only tourers/motor homes and one section for tents and small camper vans. In the CC site, all the pitches are hard standings.
The 2 WCs were fully working but not as clean as they could be. I can't comment on the pay as you go showers as we didn't use them.
The chemical loo and grey water disposal points were not easy to find. The disposal point for general waste and recycling was full to bursting and was very unsightly.
The grass between the pitches was far too long and when cut while we were there meant that copious amounts of grass ended up in the porch awning and van.
Smoke from campers with campfires smoked us out on one occasion and was not welcome.
There were some really lovely walks close by and highly recommended.
This site would be really good with some more attention to detail. Use it again, we would but would just wish for that bit more attention to detail even if it was slightly more expensive.
We found it difficult to contact the site owners to pay them and report a couple of wasp nests very close to the pitches. The site is close to a river and on a working farm so not particularly child friendly.
