Lovely friendly site, easy access, fresh eggs and fruit available, clean toilet, and nice to see a wind turbine on site that helps to save our planet, close to east coast. Other sites nearby not so good as this one. Very much agreed with owner about recent changes the Camping and Caravanning Club are going to bring in next year which will not benefit the small sites, or campers.

Just back from a lovely stay at this site. Had a very relaxing time amongst friendly hosts and fellow campers. A nice flat field with hook up points and plenty of space for those with energy to play. Clean toilets. No shower at the moment, but that didn't detract from our stay. Fresh eggs and fruit available - we stocked up! We loved watching the wildlife from our deckchairs - barn owls, marsh harrier, kestrels and deer amongst others. Minsmere RSPB reserve and Dunwich Heath National Trust is just down the road. A good location for those who love wildlife and want to visit the reserves. Aldeburgh and Southwold also within easy reach for those who fancy a day at the seaside.

We booked last minute as we wanted to get away with some friends for the May bank holiday weekend. The owner was very friendly during the booking process and once we arrived. The campsite is flat, great for the tent and for the children playing ball games. It was a large field with plenty of space for the few tents and caravans that were there. The facilities were minimal (2 WCs and a water tap), but clean (toilet paper and soap provided). A shower is being built but was not ready when we were there.
We'll be going back as it was value for money and the owners welcoming.

Just spent a brilliant weekend here, they must be the friendliest owners we have met for a long time, the site was clean and tidy with good facilities and plenty of space, the owner was very happy to spend time showing us all the wildlife and telling us some local history, we will go back soon.

We stayed for a week and thoroughly enjoyed this small new site. The owners couldn't be more friendly and helpful and sold us lovely fruit, vegetables and eggs. The surrounding area was interesting, great villages and pubs, good food and beer! Currently there is just a toilet on the site but there are plans for a shower block soon.
Saxmundham is about a ten minute drive away if you need shops, and Southwold is also close by.
Minsmere and Sutton Hoo are not far away. In fact there's such a lot to see we will definitely be back.
