Lovely location but has a “scruffy” feel. Uneven hardstanding so impossible to stake an awning.
Irritating having to get out of the car to unlock the padlocked gate every time.

The location of the site is perfect with great views of the river and easy walking access to the town centre. The site is quite small and there are a small number of grass and hard standing pitches (concrete pads) all with electric and water. Access can be tricky but if you follow the directions on the website, no problems.
The facilities provided are basic, but work well. The staff are great and very friendly.
Also fantastic value and the separate change for electricity is good move, just pay for what you use and also good value.

Great campsite, direct gated access to the river into town or to the countryside. Lovely views across the river from the pitch.
Really helpful owner both before and during our stay.
Hand sanitiser on all the taps and gates, very clean and pleasant stay

Site was superbly located, right on the River Avon. Safe and secure behind locked gates. No facilities other than hook up, water.
Although site was just as described and we were happy with it, it really needed a bit of TLC as it looked like a bit of a dumping ground for old caravans, desperately needed tidying up. Lots of overgrown brambles, grass needed cutting, this is a small site, so the overall 'feel' of the place was probably exaggerated by the size?

This is a very nice basic site in a great location.
You're right on the river with just a short walk into town, many shops, pubs, parks, abbey ruins, lots to do.
My wife found a spinning wheel shop a short drive away so very happy.
Easy access and level pitches, relaxed and friendly owner.

My wife and I stayed at this site for four days in July when the weather was extremely hot. The site, formally a CL, had space for 5 caravans and is adjacent to a warf slipway on the river Avon.
All pitches have a wonderful raised view of the river and associated weir and lock. The owner is pretty relaxed about how outfits are pitched and there is a choice of concrete and grass.
There are no toilets or washrooms on site which in my opinion is just fine as it deters the 'I couldn't possibly go on a site without a shower' brigade even though most outfits these days have perfectly adequate facilities.
The best thing about this site in my opinion is that although it feels like you are in a fairly rural location, the town of Evesham is just a five minute walk away with more shops pubs and restaurants than you can shake a stick at.
There are some nice dog walks along the river and a large park next to the site. The entrance to the the site is via a set of iron gates which are permanently secured with a combination lock and chain the code to which is obtained from the owner at the time of booking.
Wife wasn't so keen on the site but I thought it was fine and would return again in an instant.

Stopped here for two nights February 2017 whilst visiting the area after the NEC caravan show, ideally placed for the town of Evesham which is a nice town with lovely buildings and sited on the river Avon with river walks - campsite a bit quirky and very basic but adjacent to the river and the weir, you will need to use your own facilities but has EHU water and chemical toilet disposal.
Very peaceful with loads of wildlife on the river and the weir and very convenient for pubs restaurants and shops all within 5 minutes walking distance.
The owner is friendly and accommodating

This is a little gem of a site, it is basic with an elsan point so you have to use your own van facilities, there are plenty of water points and electric hook ups.
The pitches are level and there are several hard standings. The site is next to the river overlooking a weir and a towpath, and the best bit as far as I am concerned is you are only five minutes away from the nearest pub with real ales, situated on the High street in Evesham. The town is full of shops, pubs, restaurants and has an outdoor market at the weekends.
The site makes an ideal bolt hole if you just want to get away from it all, or you can use it as a base to visit the many events that go on in the historical town of Evesham.
I can highly recommend this site, 10 out 10 for me.
