Liked: Open all year. A very spacious, peaceful and well tended site with large hardstanding and grass pitches, run by a friendly family and their assistant wardens.
Some long-term caravans and RVs in residence but plenty of places for tourers.
Laundry, outdoor wash-up area and very clean facilities.
Electricity now metered, so only paying for what is used keeps the overall price very reasonable. WiFi available (not free).
Disliked: The nearby village of Willingham has only a few shops, with more in St Ives, but they are too far to walk and the road is rather busy for cycling.
Without a car, the site is no good for exploring the area and the nearest taxi service has to come from Cambridge (very expensive).

This is an excellent site. The wardens Gary and Sue are very friendly and helpful, they also keep the whole site in pristine condition, regularly checking the facilities throughout the day. We found the facilities were all that we need from a site.
We were not bothered by the traffic noise. The site location was convenient for us, being close to both Cambridge and Ely. Anglesey Abbey and Duxford are also well worth visiting whilst in the area.
There is a very useful tourist information area and book swap facility on site, and the wardens are happy to give tips for places to visit if needed.
We would be happy to return to Roseberry when in the area again.

The site was kept immaculate with beautiful mowed lawns and lovely pear trees.
The facilities were dated but kept extremely clean at all times. The showers, although nice and clean, were not large and had a tiny drying area.
The dog 🐕 area was excellent and our Labrador loved playing chase in a totally secure area. We were greeted by the owner on arrival who was very friendly, as were the wardens Sue and Gary.
The site was mainly seasonal pitches and RV’s - the tourist pitches were very much in the minority.
As has been mentioned the site was on a very busy road so there was a fair bit of traffic noise

I booked last minute and booking was over the phone no problem with details of the site sent straight away by email.
I was blown away by how clean and well kept the site is the site is level and mainly grass with hard standings separated by immaculately manicured pear trees, the toilets may look a bit old on the web site but they are really clean everything is catered for with a laundry and undercover pot wash.
There is a dedicated fenced in dog paddock with lights amongst the trees which you can let your dog off lead which is fantastic there is also a bin.
We used the park and ride at Milton for Cambridge which is only a few miles away.
If you want a lovely peaceful campsite this will be the site for you the warden has a walk around in the evening you can ask him anything there is a lovely information office with lots of information leaflets books dvds to borrow what a lovely touch.
We would not hesitate to book again. Simon Michele Rednall

Upon arriving we were met with a very warm and friendly welcome by Gary and Sue the site wardens, everything was explained to us and then we were shown to our pitch
We were given a choice between a couple of pitches and then left to set our selves up.
After getting our tent set up we decided to have a walk round the site to get our bearings, we were very impressed at how nice the site was kept.
The toilet block although a little dated was very clean with a plentiful supply of hot water, there is also sinks under a canopy for washing pots and a laundry room, also a well stocked information building.
After a couple of days Gary and Sue left to go on there holidays leaving Mark and his wife the site owners to look after the site.
We found them to be equally as nice always ready to stop and have a chat. We would fully recommend this site and definitely will be returning.

Clean and well kept site. Security good with barrier and wardens patrolling during day until late evening.
Security fence around site with alarm.
Toilets very clean but block needs slight updating. Showers hot and plenty of water.
Dog area fenced off with pear trees to give interest, bench to sit on and dog poo bin in enclosed dog run.
Owners very helpful with giving us local information, nice local pub walkable. Busy road to local village with no pathway.
Not far from guided busway about 3 miles did not take bus but they go regularly to Cambridge and st Ives from Longstanton park and ride. Height barrier at park and ride.
We have already booked to return next year
