Fantastic location, walking distance to the lovely village of Much Wenlock. A path takes you there past beautiful scenery. Great for walkers. A weekly market, pubs, small shops and an antique shop, all close together. An animal wildlife rescue centre is close by and they had an open day last time we stayed.
Campsite facilities look basic at first glance but the owners have thought about everything from washing up bowls to chocs to help you park on the slope. Only 2 toilets and two showers but well cleaned and maintained. Small sandpit for kids. Picnic benches dotted around along with large fire buckets (wood can be bought on site).
Incredibly friendly owners who have a passion for camping as well as protecting the countryside.
Cost worth it. It's a great place to stay!

Fantastic! Lovely site just off the main road with a path into Much Wenlock that is not on the road. Very friendly owners who do everything to help. Toilets porta loo but there is a building waiting to be plumbed in. The loos are clean, sanitary and well maintained. Showers a bit out in the open so probably not good in the winter. Fresh water on site as you would expect. Rustic washing up facilities. Logs for sale with burning buckets available to use. Picnic benches dotted around the site. I can tell you that if you want a place to relax this is a perfect place. I live about half an hour's drive away and this is my haven.

Were met by friendly owners, site is sloping so bring your levelling blocks its better to park nearer the bottom of the field. The road can be busy but only in the day, the whole place was silent at night. Had all the facilities we needed - two very clean portable toilets, somewhere to empty our toilet, water and recycling point. There is even a firepit and seats, all in all a wonderful place. Walk up the next field where you can let the dog run and over a gate and you are on a track that takes you on endless walks over wenlock edge or mountain biking, turn right and its 20 minutes walk into Much Wenlock with its shops and great pubs. What more could you want?
