What can l say about this CL PERFECT. With only 5 hard standing pitches with own water and EH. If you want peace and quiet this is the place, lovely views of the Shropshire countryside and of Wales in the distance. The site is spotlessly clean, includes dog walk area, a summer house inside information about surrounding area, DVD / books / games that can be borrowed, you can purchase cakes / eggs also. The toilet and shower are also spotlessly clean. Out and about you have Whitchurch, Ellesmere, Oswestry and Wrexham all a short drive away. When you arrive at Brunette CL you will see your name on the pitch allocated to you. We had pitch 1 and found it a little bit tight due to having a twin axle caravan (our next trip later in the year will be pitch 3) ok if you have a single axle van. Please don't use satnav if coming down A41 it will make you turn off toward Malpas route carry on towards Whitchurch A41 then take A525 Wrexham Road after about 4/5 miles turn right onto lane and you will reach Brunette CL after 11/2 miles it is a little narrow nothing to worry about. If you come from Malpas turnoff it is roughly 10 miles of very narrow lanes. We would like to thank Paul for a enjoyable stay perfect apart from the weather. Thanks again will definitely returning to Brunette CL.

We have just returned from yet another week at brunette cottage what a fantastic site with warm and friendly owners. Nothing is too much trouble for them.
From the time you arrive till the time you leave paul was on hand for anything required. The toilet is spotless and showers are hot, the grounds are kept spectacular with flower pots and bird feeders on every pitch. The information shed is full of leaflets of places to see and eat. It also offers eggs, jams and chutneys for sale.
All in all a gem of a site.

This site is amazing, all you need for a really good caravan break. Large hard standing for caravan, car and awning all set in what feels like it's own garden with flower boxes and bird feeding station. It even has your name on display on your pitch when you arrive. With a name like mine which is Rabbitt it is well countryfied. Being all plumbed in saves carting water and waste. The views of the welsh hills are great. The owner is really helpful and keeps the site just perfect. The information housing has everything you need. Lots to see and do and there is a really good pub which serves lovely meals at Hanmer not far away. Can't wait to go back.

We have just stayed at this site for a week. An immaculately kept site, with an excellent single bathroom, Hardstanding pitches each with a 16 Amp. Power supply and water point. An information office with local jams and biscuits, tourism leaflets and fresh eggs produced adjacent to the site by the resident hens. A quiet site with only occasional noise from passing tractors and helicopters from RAF Shawbury, uninterrupted westerly landscapes. A degree of care required on the approach road from the A525 but nothing to worry about. Enthusiastic and friendly owners for whom nothing is too much trouble. Reasonable mobile reception on Three network, good TV and radio reception. 10 minutes into Whitchurch, a market town which is bigger than it appears with good shopping and plenty of pubs for lunch, Grindley Brook Locks on the Shropshire Union Canal near the ring road- well worth seeing. Would recommend - will be going again.

A super spot. A warm welcome from the owners who are meticulous over the upkeep of their CL. The site now has 5 hard standings and the option of almost manicured grass if you prefer. It also has a path to the superb washroom which is one of the best CL facilities we have come across. Lovely views across to the snow capped Welsh hills. Would definitely recommend. F

Just back from a lovely week at this gem of a site.
This is a well laid out '5' site with a couple of hard-standing pitches. It is also equipped with a 'designer' garden-shed-styled shower-room' that would put many house bathrooms to shame.
There are many good walks in the area and the owner is very welcoming and informative.
The nearest pub is The Queen's Head, at Sarn [also known as 'The Sarn']. It serves a couple of cask ales and a nice pub menu, but is only open in the evenings during the week.
All in all a site I would highly recommend.

Well kept lawned site. Adults only. Caravan club members only.
Site owners have made this a very clean and pretty site. Water & electric on pitches. Some hard standings and some gently slopping. Views over Welsh hills and cows in adjoining fields. Dogs are welcome on leads and there is a dog walk. A lovely touch is a beach type hut with free shower and toilet. Very clean and nice touch is soap & toilet paper. This site is in the heart of the country side so very quite. Nearest pub is about 3 miles away. Great place to explore Rhyl and N. Wales and surrounding Shropshire. A little gem!
