Lovely little site, friendly owners,
Basic but clean and well stocked loo roll.
Handy for walks on the edges.
Could do with a covered area with hot water for washing up.

Beautifull spot with friendly owners and very good facilities. An ok pub 5min walking, nearest shops a 5min drive away.
The popular crag/recreational area "the roaches" is in full view and a 10min walk away.
A little word of caution though; the site is basically on top of the hill so during a storm it is very exposed -> choose your pitching spot wisely.
I still loved it and would go again anytime.

We had a lovely time at Hazel Barrow.
A beautiful location, great facilities and Jane is a very friendly and helpful lady.
Also, only about half a mile to the pub!

Beautiful, small, quiet campsite.
Simple but clean facilities and hot, free showers.
The owner is very friendly and accommodating creating a relaxed atmosphere.
No parking on the camping field which I love, but it means you have to carry your stuff to your pitch.
Will definitely return.

Owner jane was lovely and helpful.
We stayed 2 nights with our dog and was lovely and quiet, lovely back field we could let her loose on to run around.
Showers and toilets were very clean and lovely and hot.

The best possible location for walking or cycling in the area. Stunning views of Ranshaw Rocks, Hen's Cloud and The Roaches right from your tent.
All in easy walking distance, along with Lud's Church and Three Shires Head. Leek is only about 4 miles down the road too.
Small site with two little level fields to pitch in, basic but clean facilities with lovely hot water shower.
Friendly, laid back and accommodating owner who happily lent me her OS map, and gave some walk recommendations.
No electric hook up. So, if what you're after is a back to basics, great value, clean and simple base camp in the perfect location for exploring the stunning surrounding countryside then this is.
Brilliant place! Thoroughly recommend.

We (group of 5 adults and four children) stayed for three nights at Hazel Barrow.
The site was beautiful, peaceful, quiet and in a great location, with warm showers.
We visited Hen Cloud/The Roaches, Lud’s Church and some lovely pubs :) We found the owner very friendly, helpful and relaxed.
We were the only group with young children on the site, so we were a little worried about how other campers might feel about the inevitable noise from our kids, but nobody seemed to have any issues and most campers were up and out well before us.
Would definitely return and recommend the site.

Lovely laidback campsite with beautiful views.
Pub nearby always a plus! (10 minute walk or so)
Great walking. Within walking distance. Amenities simple, but enough!

Great location and nice little area for a tent pitch.
Hot water for showers and a male and female toilet/shower area. Cold water for drinking right by the tents.
Not long at all to get to some bouldering on foot, 30-40 mins walk up the hill.
