We stayed at Watercress Farm for 4 nights in April 2019.
Tony was on hand on our arrival to point us in the right direction regarding the site facilities etc. He also handed out a sheet giving guidance on what is on offer in the area.
As others have said, the site has large hardstandings which are well separated from each other. It has EHU’s at each pitch and a water point close by [as well as one near the refuse & CDP]. A perimeter dog walk is also available.
There are quite a few footpaths in the area as well as quiet country lanes for cycling. Dering Wood is close by which is a Woodlands Trust area and was ideal for letting the dogs run loose. Lots of quiet tracks & paths.
The Rose & Crown at Mundy Bois is around a mile away and looked to be busy when we called by. There is also the Dering Arms, close to Pluckley train station, that was a bit of a “step back in time”! The local farm shop was a 10 minute walk away and was well stocked with fresh bread & vegetables. There is also a village store in Pluckley itself as well as a butchers. Newspapers are available at the store.
The only downside to the site, as others have mentioned, was the persistent barking of a neighbours dog[s] which did take the shine off our stay. Not the owners fault but it is something to bear in mind.
Otherwise a super CL with a laid back approach to all matters.

We have just spent two weekends at Watercress farm, we enjoyed the first weekend so much we went back again.
The site is in the beautiful village of Pluckley with three very nice local village pubs providing lovely food.
The site has no amenities but that's not a problem as we are happy to use our own, Tony & penny made us welcome from waving us in from the road side to closing the gate when we left. The site is 100% Clean with recycling facilities. Near by field to walk the dog. Value for money
We will definitely be back.

Great little site
Very friendly and helpful owners
Well kept clean and tidy
Great size pitches - very spaced out
Great walk to a very nice pub - good food and beer
Local woods for great dog walks
Road noise not bad
No toilet or shower facilities which is fine as all in van
*only advice leave M20 at junction 9 not before as sat nav takes you down windy narrow country lanes *
Will definitely come again

A lovely little site, beautifully laid out and carefully maintained by an incredibly friendly and helpful site owner. There are five hardstanding pitches staggered on either side of a slightly curving central access road.
This means that you never look into or directly at another outfit and is very nicely done. Each pitch has its own electric hook up right alongside and water points are very close by too.
There is a nice dog walk around the flower meadow alongside the pitches but there is a wonderful walk in the nearby Dering Woods (less than a mile away.
There are several pubs nearby, we tried the Rose & Crown which is exactly a mile away which was fabulous: great food, very warm and friendly welcome and dog friendly too!
The only note of caution is that the site is alongside a country road that is very popular with driving enthusiasts and bikers and the noise from the road is noticeable on occasions.
That said, this is a very nice site in a good location run to the highest standards by very friendly owners and I'd definitely recommend it!

Smashing little site. Immaculately maintained by two very thoughtful owners, Penny and Tony.
Stayed overnight on the way to France and appreciated service provided by T&P. Great little dog walk and wild flowers. Nice touch. Thanks again !

A little gem of a site. Like being on a miniature Club Site without the toilet block. We were on one of their hard standings due to very recent heavy rain.
A very well looked after site in a stunning part of the county. Slight traffic noise from a commuting rabbit run but not a problem.
Tony and Penny very friendly a welcoming, felt as though we'd known them years! Will return and glad it's not too far from home.

I can only endorse the comments already made. Even though site was very wet due to clay surface, the hard standings were big enough for car and caravan. Tony and Penny very friendly
Will be back in summer.

I was looking for a local site for weekend getaways and I found Watercress Farm, I am so pleased that I did,
Its a lovely site very neat and tidy and very well laid out,
The entrance has lots of room to park the car and caravan before you even open the gate, the photos on the web page were taken a few years ago, the site looks so much nicer, if I could upload my photos I would,
The grass is green and the shrubs are growing nicely, Tony and Penny are a lovely couple very helpful indeed, this is just how a CL Site should be, every view from the pitches is of the green grass and shrubs I think this is just perfect,
We will visit this site more often now as its only 10 miles from us and it makes the perfect weekend away, lots of local woods for the dogs and the little farm shop up the road, I always get my biddenden cider its lovely,
I have been to many CL Sites but I must say this is on of the best.

I agree with all comments made by previous reviewers and would only add that his is a good stop over site for those using the Channel tunnel or Dover ferries.
The owners were friendly and helpful even in then pouring rain and a longer stay would definitely be worthwhile. We used it on outbound and inward journeys from France and would love to stay longer.
There seems lots to see and on around and about the site and the pub was excellent with proper beer and good food.
