 First time camping with three children including our baby. Great site. There’s clean toilets and a shower. Washing up point.
The owner is friendly. Our kids spent a lot of time playing with his dog. The other farm animals are lovely.
The kids loved it. We used the electric hook up. We will be back

THis was only our second time camping. We really loved Smithy farm campsite. We only like to go where we are allowed a bbq and camp fire. We had a large field to chose where to set up. The ground was lovely and flat. The site was nice and clean for a farm.
We spread ourselves out, got the tent put up, made tea on our bbq and then bought 2 bags of hard wood, kindle and fire lighters for under £15. We hired the fire pit. £10 and get a fiver back deposit.
The kids had a great time looking at the animals, riding on the little toy tractors and there are a few swings, a slide etc.
There is a garage just 3 minutes down the road if you need any extras. We had to go for sandwiches in the morning as we'd got a bit greedy the night before and ate everything. We didn't have to leave till 2 the next afternoon so we played games and chilled out. Brilliant place. Lots of space and quiet and private. Didn't use the showers as only stayed one night. Think they cost a pound.
