Stayed for 3 nights on this excellent site hard to believe it is a municipal site we were allocated pitch 210 with electric own fresh water and grey waste close to the newest of the toilet / showers very clean and plenty of hot water. The short walk or cycle along the river to the medieval town of Dinan is a must The staff speak good English and are only too willing to help Due to the good weather they extended the pool opening times

We've just spent 7 lovely nights at this site. Here are the good & the 'not so good' bits;
Good:
* very friendly english speaking reception.
* lovely walk along the river direct from site into Dinan (it took us about 25 minutes to walk from site to the lower port area of Dinan although that was getting a move on as we were starving!)
* the adjoining restaurant, The Cochon Grille, isn't much to look at from the outside but we had a really lovely meal - all 3 courses were spot on and at 24€ for 3 courses it was good value given the quality of the food.
* minigolf, tennis & good sized swimming pool on site & free to use.
* on the whole, good sized pitches. We didn't like the pitch they had reserved for us as it was sloping but they were more than happy to let us swap. We have a big twin axel caravan & put out a big rigid windbreak garden (approx. 1. 5 times the size of a full awning) and there was ample room for this on our pitch (pitch 208).
* showers & toilets were clean. Showers could get a little cool for my liking but then I do prefer them scalding hot.
* each pitch in the bit we were in had its own water tap which meant we could hook up to the mains do away with the aqua rolls.
Not so good;
* the size & slope on the original pitch we had been allocated (number 100) would have been problematic had we not been able to change.
* if I'm splitting hairs it would have been nice to have a dog exercise area as dogs need to be on lead at all times on site and one of mine won't do his business on-lead!
* the market in the local village of Taden that was widely advertised really wasn't great! Maybe 10 - 12 stalls max!
On the whole - we really enjoyed our stay. Would we return? If we were in the area, yes but I wouldn't return specifically to come to this site. After leaving this site we headed to a site in the Pays De Loire which I preferred (Camping Sans Souci).

Spent 3 nights here, reception very friendly. There seem to be two main areas with pitches, we were in the area with the older shower block but it was fine and hot water was good. Washing up again good. Our pitch was on a slope but some weren't so maybe have a decent look at pitches.
We arrived when the World Cup was France playing and they had a tv in the bar/ restaurant rather than the tv room for the event. Afterwards had an enjoyable meal there, the 3 courses and the chef can cook a decent meal. We didn't use any other facilities but there's a pool and crazy golf type course?
We picked the site for the location to Dinan, now you can walk down through the site I believe to the bottom and then take the cycle path all along the river into Dinan, we just cycled past the site and then down to the river to avoid a few steps with the bikes. It's a lovely river path that took just under 10 mins on electric bikes, all very flat and pretty, so I guess walking around 30 mins. You follow the river Rance into the little 'port' area which is very pretty with bars and restaurants. You then take a sharp right and start the climb to the town on foot not bikes, through the pretty houses, it's quite step but lovely, then you reach Dinan, wow it's lovely, fantastic old buildings, restaurants and all the shops are selling lovely things like art, pottery, jewellery not your usual tat.
Now there is also a petit train that you catch down on the flat 'port' area that takes you up to the town so you avoid walking the hill if you are not so fit, you can do the whole loop or get off it the town, in one of the brochures at the campsite about the area was a 2 for 1 voucher for the train. We used the train to go up to the town on the second day and walked back down the step hill, if you can at least do the walk one way as the houses and shops are really pretty in this road. The train was 6 euros each for the whole trip or 4 euros on way I think.
I do think this is the closest campsite for Dinan and it's a must see place ! Make sure you have a pitcher of cider with the tea cups.
Wifi only seemed to work by reception, possibly in the bar, but we couldn't get it on our pitch.
I would recommend for anyone wanting to see Dinan.
