We had a wonderful stay at this lovely camping. If you need luxury or entertainment, don't go to this place.

But if you want to enjoy the magnificent environment in a relaxing atmosphere, there is no better place.

We'll come back for sure ;-)

We had a lovely stay thank you - the site is cute - with chickens roaming and goats, sheep and horses in the neighbouring fields. The children (9 & 13) thought it was amazing!

It’s also surrounded by beautiful scenery!

We couldn’t find the lights for the toilet (perhaps there wasn’t any) and the shower could’ve done with a chair / table to put your clothes on (but I know they’re planning on renovating soon.

That being said - for the price we paid (£12 including electric hookup) we felt it was incredibly reasonable and we were really happy with our short stay!

Stayed here for one night as we were going to a wedding reception at nearby Fawsley Hall.

Initially drove past the entrance as we didn’t spot the sign on the gate and the sat nav was taking us to the centre of the village. Had to ask for directions but finally got there.

Once pitched up I have to say it was rather crowded - there were quite a few units all around the field quite close together. That said it’s a nice field with some lovely views. There were horses next to us and chickens wandering around.

We received a warm and friendly reception from the owner who helped us to hook-up.

At £12 per night it’s a decent price.

I didn’t personally visit the showers as we use our own facilities but I did visit the toilets which were clean.

We did not venture out other than to take a taxi to Fawsley Hall but this site was ideal for our needs.

Easily missed from the road, poor signage. No sign of the owners when I arrived, a helpful guy (visiting someone on the site) showed me around.

Field/pitch fine, however the facilities were probably the worst I have ever encountered - health and safety would have had a field day - how this site has a certificate I do not know.

Toilet macerator needed to be plugged in, under the sink, into an extension. Around the sink was not clean - did not want to put my toothbrush down. Didn't go anywhere near the shower.

I had the most serene and fantastic time here. Ann is so friendly and the animals are adorable. A clean, and well kept site with a toilet and shower together (a nice hot shower, very refreshing) this is situated

Just inside the main building which is a minute or two away from the camping area. You will need a 3 pin plug extension to hook up although there are some available. It has discreet toilet emptying facility, there is the dark water emptying and a useful washing/up area which has cold water only but a kettle of hot is no problem.

Recycling is there if you ask. The animals are there to greet you if you feel friendly enough, usually the dogs and cats. If you are an animal lover then you will love it and the sites over the fields there are beautiful. Horses and a couple of ponies walk by throughout the day.

A note. You do not have to associate with the animals like I did, they will not bother you if that is what you wish. As for shops etc. Outside the site, I didn't leave the site as it was exactly what I wanted but I understand there is a garden centre very near where you can get refill gas bottles and a garage with shop quite close.

What more could you want. Ask about fishing. Also wifi is available but for me the signal was best near the building.

Quiet, small, family friendly campsite. Very relaxed and laid back. The children loved all the animals especially having horses in the field right next to us! Facilities are basic but do the job. The owner is a lovely lady who relies on donations for the animals. Absolute value for money, will definitely be returning!

We have jut returned from an amazing weekend at Whitefeather. We stayed there for 2 nights as 2 families with young children and could not have picked a more friendly place to stay. The site is attached to a small farm/animal sanctuary which the children loved. All of the animals were so tame that the children were feeding and brushing the ponies and able to get close to and stroke the pig and goats. It was an amazing experience for them which they loved. The owner was so friendly too and we felt quite at home on the site. The only thing to let it down was having just one toilet and shower comnined, however this did not spoil our weekend in the slightest. There was a lovely garden centre and cafe next door too. And a pub a short walk into the village and also the picturesque woods and meadows to walk around. We would definitely return to this site again

I stayed here with my husband in our campervan. We received a very warm welcome and were shown the facilities which were very basic but clean. This is a fantastic place for children as they have the opportunity to interact with the animals. It was evident that the children enjoyed their stay. We walked down to the local pub and had a delicious meal and also walked to Badby Woods. There is a lovely garden centre next door and they serve up a great cuppa with a variety of cakes. The site was peaceful with wonderful views and we would stay again.
