A small site for just 5 units on a working farm at the top of a single track road. Great location overlooking the Vale of Pickering with cows in the field next to you. Owner is friendly and helpful but not overbearing. He even offered for us to use a toilet and shower in his utility room but we are happy to use our own facilities on board. Pitches, although not level, have own electric and water and drainage and the chemical waste is nearby. Good value at £14 per night!

I booked the site at very late notice, I was surprised they had space as it was the school holidays.
The site has only been running since 2015 and this site is a hidden gem that most people have not found yet.
The views are absolutely stunning and the idea of water on every pitch along with a drain is great, the electric hook up is not far away either. The pitches are hardstanding but not completely level but they are on top of the hill. The owners have created a windbreak by using soil to create a bank behind the pitches and at the end of the site, this is now covered in wild flowers and plants and there is a multitude of birds and insects that now call it home.
The lane is single track with passing places and is quite good for a farm track, in the week we were staying I didn't come across other traffic at all.
The owners are lovely and very helpful. The site is well located for Scarborough, Thornton le Dale, Malton and Pickering.

We went to Quarry Farm for two nights (fri and Sat). We were greeted at our car upon arrival. And shown a few pitches which we were able to choose from. These included electric or not!. We were able to use the bathroom attached to the main house which was clean and warm and only a few seconds from our pitch. We were amazed by the incredible views and vast space. My children both flew their kites and played football all day long. If your looking to get back to nature then this campsite is for you. Our children loved it so much they wanted to live there. Its basic but that's what we wanted and it was perfect! There was a shop only a mile away and the local towns were so beautiful. Thornton le dale being amazing, so good infact we went for dinner on the evening and lunch the next day. Scarborough beach was only 20 minutes away so it was an ideal location. Waking up to listen to the cows, sheep and birds was so good and sitting on an evening with a cold beer whilst watching the sun go down over the amazing view was perfect! Thank you, We will definitely be back.

First time we had visited this site, nice welcome from the owners, views are great, we had the site to ourselves. Nice hard standing pitches, grass if preferred, all had their own tap, drain & hook up.
Excellent cpd, nice to have one with a easy to use lid & water right next to it.
No toilet block, that does not matter to us we use our own & prefer it that way.
We only stayed one night on our way home which we really enjoyed so will return again for more stays. All in all excellent, highly recommend a visit for views peace & quiet.
