Beautiful camp site with amazing facilities.
It has a stream running along the side so running water can be heard from all over the site making it very peaceful.
The toilet/shower blocks seem to be brand new and very clean.
The owners seem to run things very old school so made it more personal.
My wife and son want to go back again and the dog loved it too.

This is a hidden gem of a campsite.
Quiet, laid back, good showers and toilets that are cleaned daily.
There is a river running next to the campsite. Bats flying around at night. Perfect place to stay if you're hiking around Ogwen Valley.
Charges are per person, not per pitch which could make it expensive if there are a few people staying.

We had a camping family reunion. Ma & Pa and 3 grown up children with their families. In all, 13 of us and 5 dogs!
We camped all together in a wooded area next to a river. Surroundings beautiful.
Site was well kept. Clean and tidy toilets and showers.
Owners were pleasant.

I arrived and left in heavy rain so I didn't get a chance to really appreciate this site and the area.
Modern loo block with huge cubicles and lots of space, and even a drying room.
Just off the lovely disused railway line cycle route to Bangor.
If you visit Aber Falls (the other way near Llanfairfechan) do pop into Caffi Hen Felin, it's great!

Lovely little no frills site. I camped in my van by the edge of the river which was very picturesque, and drowned out the sound of the road the other side of the river.
There were some flies around but not excessive and thankfully none of them seemed to be the biting kind, which was a relief as I was slightly concerned following previous experiences of camping near rivers and streams!
In the evening, there were quite a few rabbits hopping about which was lovely to watch!
The site has all the essential facilities: a nice modern & spacious toilet block (which is kept clean), water taps dotted around the site, a washing up sink, basic laundry facilities, recycling bins, electric hook up points, chemical toilet disposal, and a freezer for ice blocks (and some complimentary ice blocks available to borrow, which was a nice touch.
Although it might have been helpful if these blocks were labelled to save confusion!). There is a kids' play area, with various outdoor toys plus some swings, nothing too "fancy", and perhaps more suitable for the younger children than older ones, although those too old for the play area would probably enjoy clambering around on the rocks by the river so they would still have something to do!
Duck eggs and honey produced on the farm were available to buy from the house, and were very tasty!
The only 2 very minor complaints I have is that firstly, the room where the laundry and freezer were located (round the side of the toilet block) didn't have a sign on the door so I didn't realise it existed at first!
And secondly, the policy on campfires isn't clear, it says on this website that campfires aren't allowed, but several other campers had fire pits and this appeared to be acceptable. If I'd have known I'd have brought a firepit myself! There were no signs around the campsite mentioning anything about fires at all.
I would happily return, bringing my family next time, and I would recommended it to others staying in the area looking for a simple, affordable, but very pleasant site.

Cozy little site with electric point and water for each pair of plots on the hard standing.
The toilet facilities are first class and very well maintained - no complaints on anything.
I will be happy to return again.
Excellent base for bird watching trips

What a gem of a site. Owners are very warm and welcoming and yet not the type to bother you either. Ideal spot for visiting the northern part of Wales and Anglesey.
Facilities are immaculate and showers lovely and warm. I used the disabled room and it is perfect for mobility issues.
Fresh duck eggs for sale was an added bonus.
Nice and quiet at a reasonable time which allowed the rabbits and squirrels to entertain us.
I would love to go back and hopefully we can soon.
