Friendly, clean, spacious.
A particular delight was showers that do not rely on push buttons.
Handy for major shopping centre and the beach was walkable.

This is a great campsite and we enjoyed our stay.
The owner is very much visible and comes on site to check all is ok, which was much appreciated.
The facilities are great, hot showers, clean and tidy with a utility room for sharing. We hope to stay again.
Walk in to Ramsgate was 25-30 mins. Pegwell is closer if you want a local coastal pub.
We took bikes so made the trip into Ramsgate even quicker.
Local Tesco is a larger express so very handy.

This campsite is shared with the public park. The Warden isn't on site all the time but is accessible by telephone and appears very quickly when called.
The site requires updating. Functional shower block but not pristine clean. Washing up facilities-good.
Electrical power points are units that take up to 6 leads, so invariably campers will be close together.
Warden doesn't like to be challenged or given constructive feedback, invited us to leave and would refund our last nights stay, this was at 1pm on Saturday afternoon. We merely pointed out, the safety aspect of leads running through grass was unsafe and vehicles driving over fellow campers leads wasn't good either.
Wouldn't return to this campsite, we were told by the Warden there is another campsite up the road, we will give that a try.
Ramsgate is worth the trip, lovely beach and harbour.

Great little site for what we needed (weekend event in Margate ).
We didn't spend much time at the site due to having Margate plans but we liked the location, easy to find but entrance tight on space (we have large caravan ) and easy walk to beach and town.
I wasn't expecting to be looked over by houses but the site was perfect for our needs.

Absolutely perfect for us, a well run and somewhat casual lay out, the warden greeted us and pointed out our space, electric cables were run out to each location, where possible.
Very little traffic noise and although a lot of children at the site, as family friendly, they were perfectly well behaved and did not cause any problems with noise or misbehaving.
A comfortable walk to the harbour and a great Fish and chip shop at Newington added to the experience.
Plenty of hot water and very clean toilet shower block, showers included in price.
Dogs on a lead on campsite but park next door for free running, also small kids playground.
Will definitely stay again, for longer next time.
