Have been to this site on three different occasions and have always found the wardens to be very kind & helpful, swimming pool nearby is great for the kids & there is great walk just outside the site through a small woods and through a large park, great for dog owners and kids alike.
Site has always been very well maintained with well cut grass and well stocked flower baskets / tubs etc. If you have your own toilet / shower facilities then I cannot recommend it enough.

Although Milton Keynes is an unlikely location for a holiday we were in the area for a friends party and thought this a good time to make use of our caravan. The site attracted us because it was cheaply priced at 10.50 per night. When we arrived we were very pleasantly surprised at how lovely the site was. Flowers and trees everywhere (including weeping willows), and the grass well cut. Although the site has a family owned feel, being run by an elderly couple, it is in fact owned by the council which made us even more surprised about how nice it was. We had no problem with the fact there were no toilets or showers on the site, in fact this was a plus for us as it keeps the noisier campers at bay. As part of your site fee you get free use of the local indoor swimming pool which we enjoyed very much. The pool has showers so if your van doesn't have one you'll be ok. There is a nice walk by the river into the town center which has a quaint old feel about it.

What a lovely site, were initially worried about the lack of toilets especially with 2 children and have always been reluctant to use the onboard facilities to their fullest. We only stayed 1 night so this was not a big issue. Malcolm and Julie were extremely friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome, the pitches were spacious (although we were almost the only ones there) and the site was very clean and well kept. It was a pleasant walk into town, the swimming pool was very close and free as we were staying on the site (a big hit with the kids). The wind was blowing from the direction of the M1 so we could hear it but it certainly only a light hum and not intrusive. The site was well fenced off so it was safe for the children to run about. Would defiantly recommend this site if you are looking for a small friendly site that has lots of amenities close by (Milton Keynes shopping, Gulliver’s Land, Willen Lake etc)

A very nice well kept site and with complimentary tickets to Middleton Swimming Pool (100 yds ) a real bonus. At the time I visited they were offering a free night if you booked 3 days or more, so that was another bonus. Very easy to get to so will be paying another visit shortly. On the downside motoway noise (M1)at night could be a problem if you are a light sleeper and its more of a an adult site than a childrens, hence the reductions for pensioners Sun to Thursday. Note there is no toilet or shower facilities.
