This is a wonderful little site. All facilities are immaculate and grounds are well tended. Pitches are all hardstanding and well spaced with drinking water, electricity and grey waste disposal at each pitch.
The staff are very friendly and helpful, making sure you have all the information you need about the site and the surrounding areas, providing a list of local take away deliveries, pubs, restaurants and shops.
There are lovely walks for those of us with dogs, with plenty of rabbits to keep them interested! The village of Burgh Le Marsh is only a short walk away and has everything you need to stock up on provisions or wander up for a drink in one of the pubs.
For people with young children there is a safe and well equipped play area.
It is only a short drive into Skegness and a little further is the smaller, less busy resort of Mablethorpe.
We will definitely be visiting again.

Very easy to book using online system, which was backed up by a call from a very pleasant member of staff. The instructions to get there were spot on and we were greeted warmly. The site is very well organised with each plot having its own facilities and hard standing. Set up so everyone pitches same way. Site looked busy but many vans were empty so the site was quiet. Toilets/showers two of each were fabulous and lovely and warm. Our dog loved the walks around the lake. Altogether a gem of a site a bit expensive as they charge extra for dog, awning and Wife. Still lots to do in area.

I was torn between keeping this wonderful site a well kept secret or leaving a well deserved good review so that others can enjoy it - as I was taught to share nicely, here we go!
The booking process was nice and easy (I booked online) and received a courtesy call the morning we were due to arrive to make sure everything was ok.
Nice and easy to find, straight there with a satnav, and no trouble with access.
The pitches are all hardstanding, which I'm not usually a fan of, but this was absolutely fine as the hardstanding is shaped to accommodate the unit and awning, meaning you have a lovely grassy area to use on your pitch.
There is a lovely play area for children which is not visible from the pitches, where they can climb, swing, slide, run and play. A path weaves through a little wooded area, past a small chicken coop where children can collect eggs (under supervision of the staff - who are super friendly and helpful) which leads to a fantastic rope swing and out to a field for ball games and the fishing lake.
The shower block is immaculate with push button showers (longish lasting with good water pressure) and led lighting, all very tastefully done. There is also a family room which is available for this with children aged 7 and under.
Ten minutes walk from the site in the village are a good selection of pubs (the Fleece has a beautiful little garden), Dobson's Mill and the heritage centre, a Spar, Coop and of course, Skegness just 4/5 miles away.
It is a very peaceful site, so if you want a party atmosphere it's not for you. For me, however, it was just perfect - I'll be visiting again and again.
Enjoy!

Decided to visit the east of the country and found this lovely little site on the ukcampsites web site.
Booked online which was easily done on the web site and the day before travelling received a phone call offering an early arrival time if I wished.
The site is easy to find and the entrance well signed. Was greeted at Reception by the lovely Debbie who couldn't do enough for us. We were given a guided tour, advice on the local area and asked if I needed any help getting my caravan on to the pitch.
The toilet block and dish washing area were lovely, modern and kept spotless throughout our stay. All the pitches are fully serviced which is what we look for when going away (can't be doing with filling and emptying water barrels).
The local town has plenty of places to eat and drink and even an old restored windmill that is free to enter. Skegness is only a few minutes along the road and the park is ideally placed for site seeing the local area ie: Lincoln, Louth, Boston etc.
We were very impressed with the site. Well done Karen and Dave and your crew for your efforts. Will definitely be back some day
