A fabulous 4 night stay at this quiet and secluded site.
Perfect if you want to escape the hustle and bustle.
Facilities are basic, clean and were sufficient for our needs.
The site is perfect for exploring villages in and around the Peak District.
There is a canal side pub within walking distance.
Farm owner, Linda was friendly and welcoming.

Very peaceful and scenic site with just 4 pitches. One toilet and shower which were very clean.
Linda the warden was very welcoming and informative of the area. Lovely nearby walks along the canal and a charming pub restaurant within walking distance which we didn't get around to visiting.
Bus stop about a 15 to 20 min walk away depending how fit you are as very hilly area. Enjoyed the company of the horses on the site plus a few hens.
Only downside would be pitches are quite uneven so you definitely need some levellers and maybe could do with being stoned up more level.
Linda offered wooden planks for levelling too which was helpful.
Good value for money compared to other sites in the area.
Would return.

A good basic site on a working farm.
Clean and adequate facilities and best of all in beautiful surroundings.
Cycling, walking and a decent bus service within walking distance made this an ideal site for us and the 2 minute walk to the pub by the canal serving excellent food and drinks with pleasant friendly staff was the icing on the cake.
I must mention the steam railway- absolutely brilliant and wonderful dedicated staff.

A nice, small quiet site in a good location for exploring the area amid nice scenery and close to two canals for walks, a heritage railway for rides, and a pub for food.
The site owner is friendly and helpful.
The washroom facilities etc are simple but were all we needed.
The electric hook up was fine. And the rates were very reasonable.
You will want to bring some levelling chocks although they have some wooden planks you can use instead.
Would happily go back.

Beautiful peaceful site, with only four pitches available.
Ideal for walking, and the owner Linda was very pleasant and helpful.
Chocks are a must as the ground is on a slight slope.

What a lovely place this is, admirably run by Linda, the owner who is very friendly and helpful.
Adult only, you need blocks but you are rewarded with a lovely view and the shower/toilet facilities are clean and tidy. Electric hook-up, water and chemical disposal point nearby at £18 per night.
The 4 grass pitches face south west so lots of sun.
Just down the road is the splendid navigable Caldon Canal which is great for cycling and wonderful for walking. I found the walk quite magical in either direction for the scenery and the utter peace and silence.
The Hollybush Inn is a short walk away but, be warned, the meals are enormous.
You can walk into Leek, it would take about 75 minutes at normal pace.
I have loved it here and we will be definitely return.

The site owner was very friendly and the facilities ok. However, they are in need of updating.
There was only hot (very hot) water in the pot wash area. Some locks were dodgy or missing in the toilets /showers (men's and women's)
You will need chocks if in a van.
There was plenty of wildlife including peacocks.
A pleasant stay at a reasonable price.
