My wife and I stayed here for the last week of July and I can certainly say it's one of the best if not the best campsite we've stayed at.
On arrival we didn't have to check in as it's a self check in system via your car registration that operates the barrier and we already had our pitch number and site plan, we where at the back of the site on a touring grass pitch.
Our pitch was huge, even though our neighbours were slightly pitched on ours due to their extension lead was too short and they were already set up before we got there, good job I didn't take our side awning otherwise they would've had to move.
The site is split into different areas, 2 areas for tents which when we were there I felt that the tents were crammed in which is why we were glad we where at the back of the site, then there's areas with glamping pods, hardstand and touring areas.
The 2 toilet facilities were very well maintained, very clean, the block near the glamping pods had more toilets, wash basins and mirrors than the block near the games room, never had to queue for showers and the shower had a lever to operate them although they could do with a toiletries tray/ rack in them.
The grounds staff where always about cleaning the site and empting bins. There's plenty for the kids to do, games room, tennis, football pitch and disc golf which seemed to keep them quiet, I've got to say all the kids were well behaved.
The forest which joins the site acts as the dog walk with plenty of bins around, there are different trails to follow which leads to different footpaths for walks into Charlbury and joins other footpaths for further walks.
We didn't use the Old Shed cafe but it looked nice and always busy, we had a pint at the Bull Inn pub but beware they only take card and no money so we didn't go back.
Blenheim Palace at Woodstock is a must and a walk on the Oxfordshire canal at Kirtlington village was nice.
On the whole the weather was great, the site was amazing and quiet, we met other friendly campers and Dutch campers, watched the combine harvesters whilst walking the forest and would not hesitate to go back.

Excellent well maintained campsite with good facilities, large pitches and a great cafe.
Dog walks from site was a real welcome bonus and walking into Charlbury.
Only slight downside was a particular group gathering, with multiple garden gazebos and windbreaks cordoning off their two pitches and having a noisy party until the wee hours, which disturbing the otherwise tranquil setting. Someone needs to invent acoustic absorbent windbreaks for such occasions

This is our 4th visit to Cotswold View and it certainly won't be our last.
There's so much going for this site: Great location, well kept site, generous pitches, well maintained facilities blocks, and so much for the kids to do. T
Hey even gave their recycling properly sorted out, which is more than my local council has ever managed.
Although, I believe, it's a separate business, there's even a nice cafe/restaurant on site. Massive plus is the adjacent B&B accommodation. My mum in law has stayed in one of the rooms while we camped on the site.
Difficult to speak highly enough of this site. We love it!

Our first visit to this campsite and we enjoyed it. The grounds are very well maintained. Our tent pitch was large and relatively level.
The reception/site shop staff were very friendly and welcoming and having warm pastries available each morning was lovely.
There is almost no traffic noise and most people respect the noise curfews, with a few ignoring the rules but nothing too offensive. Plenty for kids to do with farm animals on site as well as a games room and playing field.
The toilet and shower facilities were clean but they are dated. Hot water was available when needed and there are plenty of bins / recycling points / washing up areas etc.
Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank You.

Stayed the bank holiday weekend, good site for families, children loved it, a little bit of noise (laughter) until 11pm in some areas but we were OK with that as were also with a large group of friends, playing games etc.
Ordered fresh croissants and French stick night before for pick up in the morning which was very nice.
Toilets & showers a little dated and not always smelling the cleanest, so opted to shower in the caravan. Dog walking excellent, lovely cafe on site, staff helpful.
Overall really lovely site, just toilets/showers letting it down.

Fantastic place very clean and well kept, showers are free nice and hot no button to pressing it just stays on. Awnings are free with pitches on the large side it is ideal for families lots for the children to do even a small zip wire which we saw being enjoyed, even a nice little under 5's play area, a few farm animals A wooded area, nice dog walks all on a very large site.
So close to all the 'special' areas of the Cotswold like Stow-on-the Wold, Bourton-On-The Water very picturesque. We found the entrance a little confusing with booking details being Cotswold View Touring Park and the entrance sign reading Banbury Hill Farm and Cotswold View Touring Park underneath.
We actually missed the turning at first as it was quite dusk due to being stuck on the M1 for 3hrs because of an accident and roadworks. It was supposed to take just 2hrs as there is a lot to do with animals before leaving so we left just after 12:00pm (hu. Sat nav's!)
Well worth staying here for families with very young and older children, with dogs and couples as it caters for
Everyone, we had 2 dogs no children and enjoyed our stay the dogs really enjoyed it.
