Stayed here for three nights and would recommend this site. The washing facilities are spotless and to a very high standard. There are some lovely walks around the village and a shop within walking distance. We brought our 13 foot boat and managed to launch it using the site's boat ramp. We had a day trip to St Ives in it where you can moor up. Nice and peaceful site with very polite and helpful owners.

We where there for the Easter break. We choose this site as it was near the river as we brought with us a dingy with engine. And we have realy nice time. Weather was nice. Facilities were ok. Owners were very helpful as we could not reach our hook-up and they gave us an extention. Nice pub in the village only 5 min to walk. Has got a lot of walks. We had bikes with us, but really there was not many suitable paths for bikes. Down point - no shops around, you need to bring food with you .

May 2004 Nice site on river bank. Toilet block excellent, but downside is that showers are on a coin meter basis. Fairly quiet site, good mix of couples and families, would visit again without question.

26.7.03 Nice very quiet small and friendly site with river Great Ouse running through. Only three or so camping or touring plots and we also got the toilet area plot which we did not like (would have stayed though as the river and location was good for a couple of nights only). However the manager let us use different vacant plots on the river for the two nights. very clean facilities and local pub as previous review.Walkable to another two beautiful thatched villages and circular walk taking in river, locks and St Ives. Some of site taken over by park homes - we had to walk around and be nosy as they were so nicely done up. Only downside was that all the caravan plots seem to have been bagged by regulars who leave their vans all year hence lack of plots. Would recommend it though if you want to visit the area and want local facilities in walking distance. Paid £14 is per nightfor 2 of us high season.

October 2002 Just come back after staying on this site. It is in a quaint village of thatched cottages and the site is next to the river. The facilities are clean and well set out. We were staying in a tent and the tent pitches were right next to the toilet block which we were not keen on but the owner allowed us to pitch on an empty caravan pitch near the river. Only room for about 3 tents so book early! There is a lovely thatched pub only 2 minutes walk from the site that serves good beer and better food - always a bonus. Highly recommended for a quiet holiday. Within driving (and cycling distance of Cambridge and Huntingdon.
