We stayed here for 2 nights over a weekend in early July intending to walk up Snowdon on the Saturday. We arrived about 9pm and the reception was closed we rang the number on the door and were given directions to our pitch and told to call at the pub to buy our electric card, we were lucky enough to find a pitch with £3 worth of electric so didn't have to pay the normal £5. The site is huge and has statics and seasonal pitches. The views of Snowdonia are absolutely stunning. We got the bus into Llanberis, the bus stop is literally just outside the campsite, Llanberis is about 2. 5 miles away and it cost £1. 50 each, not bad! Llanberis is a lovely town with some nice shops, we had beautiful weather for our walk up Snowdon (Llanberis path)there wasn't a cloud in the sky all the way to the top and the views were out of this world! The meal we had in the pub on site, was really lovely and great value for money. The facilities were excellent, showers were free and the toilet block was immaculate and cleaned regularly! Dish washing facilities were good as well! We had a look at the pool but didn't use it but it seemed fine! Not the cheapest site we've stayed on and the extra £5 for electric is a bit of a rip off if your only there for a short stay but the site itself is great and we will definitely be staying there again.

Snowdon View Caravan Park is a very nice caravan park, on site pub which is very handy and very nice, the food was gorgeous and the drinks weren't over priced at all.
The shower block was spotless, the showers were constantly hot and very clean, the toilets were spotless as was the disabled toilet, it was hard for me to get out of the shower they were so warm and that nice!
The swimming pool was also spotless and very safe, my children had lots of fun. Not to mention the pool was free, the laundrette was very nice and very handy with reasonable costs, electric was amazing and also had reasonable costs.
Not too far away from Caernarfon and Bangor,so you can do some shopping. The site itself was gorgeous and had great views of the mountains and scenery, the caravan park was very well kept.
The staff were very nice and very lovely and the manager was very nice and lovely too, the children's park was lovely with a football pitch so the kids can enjoy it, there's also a big dog walk which mean they allow pets.
My dog loved running around the dog walk! There's also a cost cutter shop 2miles up the main road so you can easily just get some things if you need to.
I have been returning to Snowdon View Caravan Park ever since I went the first time, it's a lovely gorgeous caravan park and I'm proud to go back, I strongly recommend Snowdon View Caravan Park.

Altogether not a bad site at all.

April 2003 Stayed at this campsite for a long weekend. Bar on-site which was really nice, full of character. New shower block which was spotless - nice and hot. Ideal location for exploring Snowdonia.
Swimming pool on site which the children really enjoyed - it was heated and very clean. Would highly recommend this site. Would definitely stay there again.

June 2004 We had a fantastic holiday here, the new shower block was very well maintained and constantly cleaned as was the swimming pool which I may add was free!!! The pub food was very nice and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. There is a kiddie’s playground, which has a football pitch where you can send the kids up to while enjoying a nice cool beer outside the pub. The surrounding scenery offers brilliant views and walks. It is set in a perfect location with both Bangor and Caernarfon close by for shopping trips. We will be back again over the Summer Holidays.

August 2003 One of my favourite sites with stunning views, new shower facilities and baby changing room/disabled toilet. Reasonable level ground in top fields, nice pub with good food and warm atmosphere. kids play area/games room in pub. Nice free swimming pool (indoors), very tidy site secure exit/entrance, 4 mile from Cannarfon...well recommened...close to Llanberris/Snowden...

22.08.2003 We went for a weekend and found the toilet and shower block well maintained. The man was forever in there cleaning! There is a small pub on site which serves food, we popped in one night but didn't have anything to eat so can't comment, but it smelt nice although there wasnt much room. Adjoining the pub there was a pool room for older kids which could only be entered by the pub so they won't get out without you knowing! (always handy)
The showers were absolutely boiling, could just about manage to stay under them, awkward with kids!
There is also an indoor pool which we didn't use but friends kids said it was dirty. We had spectacular views of Snowdon where we were pitched it was lovely.
My only problem was although the site gives the usual no rowdy behaviour after bla bla bla there was no one to enforce this and one night one rowdy lot went on till 2am, now there is no way I'm gonna ask them to be quiet!
Would we go back again? yes prob but not in any great rush. They also have a kids playground with all the basics and a small football pitch. No shop.

august 2002 this site is very spacious, with some fantastic scenery. it has a swimming pool and a pub on site which is quite reasonable for the food but expensive for drinks. there was loud music from other campers into the early hours, though the site rules stated otherwise. the staff were quite miserable as well. besides this i did enjoy myself, and it has a big playground for the kids. the prices were also reasonable, and i think i would go back in the future.

May 1999 I don't know if this site has improved, but when we went there in 1999 the showers were always freezing cold regardless of what time I tried them and extremely dirty (as I a doubt they were cleaned the whole 4 days we stayed). Camping field was on quite a gradient although no specific pitches which was good. This is one place we would not return to.
