This was an amazing and full filling experience in a tipi. I will defineatly be visiting again.
The site was lovely and first time we have stayed din a eco friendly campsite and it was great.
The campsite owners were so nice they couldn't do enough for us. The experience in the tipi was great and lovely and cozy.
Already feeling like I want to go back I can't wait till next time.

Booking campsites on the spur of the moment can be a bit of a gamble, especially when there's a G&T or 2 involved ;O)
But we were over the moon with every aspect of Germaine and Marks bit of Paradise on the Llyn Peninsula.
The very warm welcome began with the open and friendly emails from Germaine before we arrived and meeting herself and Mark in person we can see how special this gem of a site is. Location of out pitch was perfect, we has a beautiful sea view to our right mountains to the left and above a glorious starry sky at night.
Would recommend to those who appreciate keeping it natural when camping. Peace and quiet was wonderful. That includes the awesome owl calls.
We'll see you both soon.
Many thanks
Sue and Nick xx

Really loved this site. We wanted a campsite that would be set in a lovely location, with large pitches, clean facilities and a quite and peaceful ambience. And this ticked all those boxes and more.
The hosts are very friendly and helpful, the site is stunning with views to the sea and the mountains, the facilities are sparkling clean and the site is easy to find and access (and well placed for trips out).
Just brilliant and we will be sure to return.

We had a great weekend away staying in one of the sites teepees.
We were very impressed with how it was kitted out.
Germaine & Mark are fabulous hosts. Nothing was too much trouble.
The public areas on site ( toilets, showers etc) are kept to a very high standard.
5 minutes stroll to the beach & great views of the surrounding hills.
This is a site that we would definitely use again.

Owners are fantastic hosts and the Gyrn Ddu campsite is in a stunning location - we woke up to views of mountains and rich wildlife, with the beach just minutes walk away.
They were so welcoming and friendly as well as being really flexible and understanding. We arrived in terrible weather and they very kindly offered us any help we could have needed and kept a Tipi free for us, which we took them up on! The tipis are well kitted out and cosy (we were able to make a fire) and we were certainly more comfortable in there.
The facilities are great and on par with any other campsite we've visited where sustainability was a clear priority.
All in all a great campsite in a fantastic part of the country!

We stayed 2 nights in one of the tipi's and really enjoyed it! It was lovely and cosy with the Woodburner on in the evening. All equipment you could need for camping was provided which was really helpful including stove, utensils, pots & pans, cutlery, firelighters etc.
The location was great. Only a 5 minute walk to the beach and not far from Snowdon or the main towns on the Llyn Peninsula.
We also loved the eco-friendliness of the site too. The composting toilets were fine to use and not smelly at all. Showers were nice and warm too.
One improvement for the future could be to have a communal shelter for cooking in bad weather.
We will definitely be back in the future for a longer stay ☺

View and location was fantastic - hills and sea and looking out to sunset. Easy walk down to a very pleasant pebble beach. Campsite was very clean and pleasant - loved the re-wilding of the field and it will continue to feel more nestled as the campsite matures.
I also liked how plots are clearly defined and come with additions, like some have a picnic table and each one has a campfire pit and you get a bag of wood and can purchase more of you need/want. They even have a grill so you can cook over them if you want. This really added to my comfort and experience.
I loved how the campsite manages the facilities - compost toilets that were very clean and had no odour at all, the showers were clean and warm and easy to use.
Hosts were warm and welcoming and also accommodating, like dates around the weather and a hand putting up my tent as I was by myself! I can definitely see myself returning to this campsite!

Lovely spot on llyn peninsula with friendly and helpful hosts Germaine and Mark. Good sized pitches with the start of willow barriers. Lots of trees planted over the site that will help with traffic noise in a couple of years or so.
Great green site with fantastic beach only 5 mins walk away along a safe track.
The weather is always mixed on the north west Llyn coast but wonderful skies and pretty sheltered site. Good walks.

Gyrn Ddu Campsite was a lovely place for a family holiday. We thoroughly enjoyed our three night stay in the Yurt.
The Yurt was well equipped, warm and felt very robust. Germaine and Mark were fantastic hosts who made us feel very welcome and really couldn't have been more helpful.
The Campsite is a close walk to the beach and surrounded by beautiful mountains.

Fantastic camp site at a beautiful location, and a beach 10 mins walk away.
Modern, clean eco-friendly facilities, including some really good showers.
Hosts are very friendly, and the site had a welcoming atmosphere. Will go again!
