Lovely new site just off the main road in Skye.
Welcoming & friendly staff!
Facilities spotless (& very well organised during covid!)
Well placed for walking in to town. Good Co-op & reasonably priced (for the area) filling station nearby.
We managed to eat at the claymore inn other side of town (1. 5 miles) excellent seafood!

Immaculately clean modern facilities.
Staff really friendly and helpful. The village only a few minutes walk.
The Broardford hotel has a nice wee pub and be sure to get a wood fired pizza from Sia cafe.

A community run campsite and what a very friendly community they are!
Nothing is too much trouble for them😊
Immaculate showers and toilets, these people work very hard to look after this site, we wish them every success for the future and hope to visit again

Arrived in the afternoon without booking with a VW and a Motorbike.
Although the site was completely full
The fantastic staff did everything to find us a place.
Friendly and welcoming people, it was a pleasure to stay here. Showers were super comfortable and everything was spotlessly clean.
Will come back and book in advance. Promised!

This site has now been open for a year, both nights we stayed the hardstanding pitches were close to full, site also has 25+ tent pitches, with another 20 being added later this year, again busy would say 15 tents both nights.
Facilities still immaculate and being well cared for. Plenty of hot water in showers and washing up / laundry sinks. Showers - never come across the type of system before, not push button but you have an arrow' to start showers, eventually they stop. Or you move the arrow agian.
The drying room is out of order, it doesn't show when will be in use again. There is a washing machine but no tumble dryer so you need good weather to use the lines outside.
Staff are lovely, very keen to make sure everything is perfect and on duty until 9pm.
There is a good size Coop, a small Spar, chemist, pizza restaurant and several craft shops in the village. The stone chipped new pathway means you don't need to walk on the main road.
Good dog walk / forest walk direct from campsite gate, no need to go on roads at all.
Lovely campsite well placed for the Island, the shrubs and planting are softening what is quite a hard bright white chipping in most areas.
At £25 we found it the most expensive site we have come across in 7 weeks touring through Scotland.

Excellent site, excellent staff, very friendly and helpful, we had booked in advance and because we have a car on the back of our motorhome she said she would find us a long pitch.
Arrived, exactly as she had promised, note on the door for us telling us which pitch, she came to see us shortly after.
Showers, toilets were immaculate, as you would expect from a new site but also cleaned really well.
Absolutely loved it and will definitely come again.

Very nice, totally brand new site. Building of the place was only completed a couple of months ago. Nice friendly staff with a very modern and fancy check-in system. Of course, all of the showers were brand new so everything was absolutely pristine. There are lots of big sinks for doing your dishes, loads of showers in cubicles, sinks and a washing machine with a drying room which was most useful.
My only real niggle with the site was that it lacked character probably because it still needs time to bed-in, as it were. Even the new trees and shrubs looked like they hadn't yet taken root.
Very functional, set back off the main road with a shop and cafe within walking distance and spectacular views. I don't think I'd stay here for a holiday but as a stop over or base camp it's perfect.
