My first site review.
After searching for quite a time to find somewhere for a few nights away I found this site listed here via the search facility. I followed the link to the website and liked what I saw.
I telephoned the site to make sure that everything I wanted was available, and it was. The online booking was straight forward and my pitch was allocated.
Everything is as described on the website and the facilities are as per the photos.
Very restful site with an open outlook to the hills beyond.
Worth noting is that our pitch was a bit stoney under the well kept grass and I used some Rock Pegs.
We will certainly come back again.

Nice quiet site with pleasant views situated just outside Nairn which has only been open for a few months so everything is still in a new condition.
Has 60 pitches that are a mixture of hard-standing and grass (with or without electric). The hard standings are a good size and share a water tap between two. An interesting feature is the nature park area complete with pond. This is totally enclosed so you can let your dog off the lead secure in the knowledge that it can’t affect other campers and cause annoyance! Obviously, as the site hasn’t been open all that long things still need to mature but there already seemed to be a few birds in the area and this will only get better as time progresses.
The site is situated on a working farm so there are cows and sheep in the adjacent fields and there is access to the River Nairn direct from the site, a good walk with a swim for the dogs!
The toilet block comprises separate pre-fab cabins for Men, Women and Disabled and are kept scrupulously clean, have plenty of hot water and the showers are excellent, although the site wasn’t full so I’m not sure how they’d cope with a lot of usage. The washbasins are quite small but a pretty minor point. There’s also what has to be possibly the best pot-wash that I’ve ever used. A separate room (not outside), two nice deep sinks with draining boards, hot water and plenty of room to put washing-up down, something a lot of sites are lacking. Again, as the site wasn’t at full capacity I’m not sure how they’d cope but we’ve been to sites larger than this that only have 3 sinks.
The site has free wi-fi which is quite fast and you can get a good phone signal (3 network) and the TV signal is excellent. I assume this can change in some parts of the site but was great where we were on hardstanding pitch 8.
There’s no shop on site but it’s only a 10-15 minute drive into Nairn which is quite a large town with plenty of shops. There’s a Co-Op in the town itself and a Sainsbury’s supermarket just outside.

We can’t praise this site enough.
Run by a lovely young couple who are happy and helpful.
Nice big pitches for Motorhomes and Caravans (good in our case as ours is 30ft long!) with plenty of space between them.
Everything is brand new as they have only been open for a month or so which is nice.
Beautiful views and so quiet and peaceful.
We’ll definitely be back again.
This place deserves to be a huge success.
