We have used this site every year since they opened and what a lovely site it is. Dean and Lisa are very friendly and welcoming and every year there have been improvements. Nothing is too much trouble.
The pitches are a good size, toilet block is clean. They have a coffee caravan where you can get coffee, hot chocolate and cake. This year they had a wood-fired pizza van, burger van and Sunday breakfast van. They had a marquee pub this year and are planning to have a barn pub next year for campers to use in wet weather.
We had a birthday in the family while on site and came back to a decorated tent and a birthday dessert!
There is a camping field and playground for younger campers. Everyone is made to feel very welcome. Reasonable prices.
There are nearby supermarkets. The slight downside is travelling to get to a major town, but this is only minor. You have everything you could want for a great holiday and there is plenty to do in this area.
This campsite is Yorkshire's best kept secret, but I think I may have just let the secret out.

Just returned from this super friendly caravan/ campsite.
Very friendly welcome from Lisa on arrival, faciities adequate for size of site.
The pitches are extra spacious & reasonably flat.
The floral displays around the site are fabulous, so are the well cut pitches.
There is an outdoor bar that opens at weekends, excellent idea. Bar prices are very reasonable.
Pizza van there on friday evening, burger van saturday evening, breakfast van on sunday morning. Coffee caravan is beautifully set out with benches outside, love it!
This site is amazing, so was the weather.
Keep up the good work Lisa & Dean, the site is a credit to you both.
Can't wait to visit again, already recommended.

Site is very well presented and kept in very good order. Pitches are huge and well laid out.
Facilities cleaned regularly.
Trailer/marquee bar on site, including a local cask ale. Prices fair and compare to pubs.
Lovely little coffee and cake caravan.
Great host's and lovely staff.

Fantastic site, spotlessly clean, firm pitches, really friendly staff and great location for walking, pubs and amenities.
Mitch at Oddfellows pub also drops off and picks up.
We will definitely be back

Absolutely first class service from enquiring to leaving from our stay. Such a friendly, welcoming place to stay where nothing is too much to ask on an immaculately kept site.
Kids were kept entertained with the park facilities and outdoor play on the field, the spacious plots ment there was plenty of space around the tent to play too. The Coffee in the Coffee Pod was Amazing, the Shop/Gift shop has a great selection and a fab little section for the kids to get their treats too.
We hired a Firepit which came with everything needed to keep you going making a perfect to end our day's toasting marshmallows.
We had a lovely family walk in the local area with the kids loving all seeing all the wildlife especially the bunnies in a morning on site. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay so much we booked a return trip before we left.
Thank you for having us Apple Blossom 😁

We stayed here in early March and was very impressed with this super friendly site.
The facilities are spotlessly clean which is a rare find these days. The pitches are very large and could easily fit the car, caravan awning plus room to sit out around our table. There is the 6m gap between pitches too.
We had a lovely fresh coffee from the self service cute ‘coffee pod’.
We will most definitely be returning as soon as campsites can re open - this is a little gem of a site. Tucked away in the countryside, a chill out zone for us.

Absolutely brilliant site, loved it and loved the owners who couldn't have done enough for us.
Such a lovely, relaxed, clean site with a safe and friendly vibe. Lisa and Dean are open to suggestions as the site is new and they genuinely take an interest in you and your ideas.
Was sad to leave and will definitely be going back and will be recommending the site to friends and family!
My review doesn't do the site enough justice!
Thankyou so so much Lisa and Dean, one of the best sites I have ever stayed on 😃😃

Just returned from a couple of nights at this new campsite.
Very friendly owners who literally couldn't do enough for you.
Dean even rounded up a posse from the other campers to put up our awning.
Quiet rural site set around farmland approx 5 miles from Selby.
Site is flat with the largest size pitches we have ever pitched on. We had folding camper, awning & car on it & still had about 5m width left.
Very hot day on the Saturday so Dean placed a large plastic sheet in the top field with hosepipe & washing up liquid for kids & bigger kids to slide on.
Facilities are new & adequate for the size of the site.
The owners are open to suggestions, a towel in the toilets is a nice touch but you can't guarantee who has used it before you & what for. I suggested a hand drier or paper towels. A couple of hours later on my next visit to the loo & you've guessed it, there was a bundle of paper towels available.
A great friendly site with great owners made it a very enjoyable stay & at £20 per night including ehu was very reasonable.
Thanks Lisa & Dean, hope to see you again soon
