Communication before arriving was poor. I asked several questions before arrival but none were answered.
No noise past 11pm. We had a very small speaker and we were asked to switch it off, which we did. The second night, the owner Sion actually came into our tent! Four of us were sat chatting and our kids in their bedroom part of the tent. We had turned the speaker down very low and were just chatting. We could not believe he entered our tent, telling us that he could hear noise… but the noise was coming from a van with thumping dance music, at the other end of our field, that went on for hours.
No water on site most of the time. Caravans are allowed to tap into campers drinking water to wash down their vans, resulting in no water.
Not allowed to dry our hair - even if you are the only person in the room.
Showers are good, you need to take 50p’s for them.
This camp site was never like this, and you can’t blame covid.
We paid £84 for three nights. We were told off a lot for nothing at all, we felt harassed and unwelcome. Despite us not making the noise.
We won’t be back, such a shame, this place used to be great.
Ty coch is a walk across the golf course.
Nothing there for kids, such as a play area.
The camping site had burgers on site when they felt like opening. But you can’t rely on that.
The plots are big so plenty of space for a car and a gazebo, but make sure you are told where to put things as they are strict on positioning.
We had booked this in April and we’re really looking forward to our first break away since the beginning of covid.
We wish we had booked something else.
Such a shame.
We still can’t believe this man just walked into our tent!

Stayed for the weekend, having not been in a tent since I was a child.
Had a fantastic stay, only wished we had booked for longer.
The location of the site is fantastic, with great views of the sea / coast and golf course. Modern clean facilities, well looked after and well run.
Will be returning as soon as possible - for longer! ;-)

Lovely site. Beautiful place. Flat ground. Easy pegging. New and expanding it seems to me (2021 now), so teething issues with increased bookings.
In future years sure they'll nail it, but there was confusion with our booking. Right now the site quality is good, but needs better pressure for field water taps, and more than 2 male toilets.
A stricter no noise policy would be more welcome for those who break the 11pm no music curfew, but you get this on all sites and it's hard for management to control.

An amazing campsite within walking distance to the beach. We explored the many coves that Morfa Nefyn has to offer.
I would highly recommend the coastal path in which you can join from the campsite! Beautiful sunsets to be seen.
We were put in a lovely corner pitch which was nice and flat so perfect for cooking. There is a shop just down the road which has everything you need.
The staff were friendly and welcoming.
I would definitely go again.

We've been to this site many times in the past and love everything about it. The location is amazing and very accommodating seasonal residents.
The sun sets are superb though the summer and the situation being right next to the welsh coastal path makes the trip worthwhile.
The site owner is very friendly and accommodating and previous managers of the site excellent.
UNFORTUNATELY!
There is a new site manager this year (2021) who is very rude, totalitarian and seriously lacking in customer service skills.
A noise curfew is very appropriate to provide a suitable experience for all, but taking it to extremes shining torches in peoples faces because they are quietly talking with no other noise is something I have never encountered before. It is not only in the night, children playing in the day are being chastised. There comes a point when power seems to take over people and this is certainly one of those cases.
Personally although we love the site I don't think we will be going back until new management is in place. I wouldn't wish to dissuade anybody from going to this site as it is beautiful but you may encounter issues which may upset you.

Fantastic location. Lovely clean campsite.
Dogs allowed but no muck whatsoever!
Very peaceful although gets a bit more crowded at the weekend. No noise after 11 so not bad.
Sion the owner is very helpful and friendly.
Loved it so much we’re planning our next trip for next month!

Lovely clean and tidy site. Made to feel really welcome by Sion.
Walk to Ty Coch pub was about 20 minutes but well worth it.
Fields to walk the dog close by.
Will definitely go back

Great site- mostly people who have been returning for years. Great shower / washing complex that are new.
Dog friendly site with lots of walks.
Main criticism is that showers cost 50p and there is no change machine.
No grid for grey waste disposal

Spot on great communication and a easy walk to the beach from the site.
