Lovely tranquil site, part of equestrian centre but you don't have to be mad about horses to stay here.

We had a lovely grass pitch in the CL field with a bit of shade.

There are other rally fields as already mentioned but as we camped midweek they were virtually empty. Great for dogs, you can walk from the site. One of the footpaths was closed off though.

The shower rooms and toilets are all clean and fresh as was the washing up area.

I would happily recommend this site and the price was reasonable too.

Nice little campsite near to home.

Reasonably priced with good amenities. Lots of local wildlife.

Great if you are into horses as part of an equestrian centre.

We have used this site for a number of years as it is the best CL for Southend.

Always clean and tidy. Owners always helpful and friendly. Facilities are improved and there is now an additional field as well as the CL and a rally field.

Would not hesitate to recommend this peaceful site.

We expected a CL site which this is clearly not. , 4 rally fields were in use, plus what I should think was the CL. Many units were long term.

Friendly owner, although we only saw her the once as there was no electric to post.

Brand new toilet and showers.

Equestrian centre appeared to be rundown no restaurant.

Friendly basic site with very helpful staff.

Is only 30min walk to the beach past shops and food takeaways, but ask directions as route not easy to find between site and golf course.

Building new showers and wc for campervan travellers, but existing facilities were clean and secure.

Happily stay there again and listen to the cuckoo and watch the rabbits playing.

Check timings as dogs not allowed on the beach in summer🐕

A delightful spacious site set among horses and trees.

Facilities limited, as I expected on a CL site. Only one shower, but a good one. No washing up Facilities or grey water disposal.

Perhaps the funniest thing, notices to remind us to pick up after our dog, but clearly nobody picked up after the horses. That wasn't a problem on the actual caravan site though, which was clean and well maintained, so perhaps I'm being unfair.

One shower for a site is not enough. We mopped the shower floor after use as requested. Water in mop bucket always filthy. Could do with some bleach.

That’s the negative. Shower itself brilliant. Site is a beautiful setting. Went horse riding. Very friendly staff.
