 I haven't stayed here for a number of years, when I last went it wasn't very good. The person who ran it at that time was not great and I even had to get the police involved at one point. But I see that they've revamped it (I drive past it most weeks), changed the name and Mel has taken over so hopefully and should be much better! I've heard of Mel and I've got no reason to think it's the same. I may even try it again!
The village is lovely and this is a good location! There are 3 pubs, the Whitehart - expensive but great, and The 6 Bells, a great village pub are both within 1/2 a mile. The high street has a coop, post office, a chinese takeaway and a Fish and Chip/Kebab take away. And only 4 miles to the middle of cambridge
