Found site to be well organised, clean with well kept pitches and grounds.
Warm welcome on arrival and visit during stay to check everything was ok.
Very close to home but will probably visit again.

A nice site with plenty of space but getting onto the hardstandings requires driving onto the grass (the owner was ok with this. He will come and meet you, after that you are left alone. It's a bit exposed to the elements, but this means that there is no problem with a Sky tv signal if that's what you want. The owner is very pleasant; we also met his wife later who insisted on refunding us some money and giving us a bottle of wine as the facilities were frozen the fist couple of days, a lovely gesture.
Finding the site is easy; coming from Corby direction, get on the A474 towards Oundle. After going through Weldon and negotiating the short stretch of narrow road, you will be able to see the owners' bungalow on the right. Be ready to take the first turn just before the 2 flagpoles at the war memorial. There is a gate with a rather stiff catch. The facilities looked fine, but we didn't use them. There is plenty of space for tents in summer.
There is a garage with a well stocked shop at the roundabout on the far side of Weldon (turn left at the T junction then right where the road forks in the village), ASDA is the nearest supermarket in Corby.
Plenty of walks around, but a bit straight and boring. Go and have a look at Harringworth Viaduct, longest in Britain, the Eleanor Cross at Geddington, Rushton Hall and the triangular lodge, Lyveden New Bield.
We would use the site again if in the area, £20 per night but just about worth it.
