A site with beautiful views. I notice that that the website and caravan and camping club don't mention the toilets and the latter lists it more correctly as a compost toilet.

When we visited it was listed as having a flushing toilet so we were greatly disappointed to find the two seater toilet which is affectively a hole in the ground (no washbasin in the cubicle relying on people using hand sanitiser). I understand they relocate the toilet cubicle every so often digging another hole. Luckily we had an onboard toilet and washbasin.

The shower was in a corrugated shed and worked well. Only one shower and when the site was full you had to queue.

It was a base for us to visit NT properties and meet up with a friend in Rye as well as explore the area. Tenterden is a lovely town.

We wouldn't choose this site to stay again but it depends on what you want - views are something.
