A pleasant sheltered site, mainly level, with touring vans interspersed with static caravans where EHUs were plentiful. Tents were located on a separate field.
It would seem that the sites management has been passed on to the son/daughter of the original owners and, at this time, some of the organisation is a bit uncertain. But the friendliness and helpfulness of the new owners more than made up for this.
The toilets are kept clean but are pretty basic. When the site is full I would imagine the toilet block will be under pressure.
There is a small children's playground in a field above the site although some of the building material and excavations which were not separated from the playground would leave me with safety concerns for young children.
For 2 persons with Caravan the cost of £16.50/night is average.
Most of the links on their website, including the booking mail address and the telephone number were wrong. The site needs updating for the owners own sakes as it must now effect business.
All in all a pleasant site with helpful owners, near to the pleasant town of Sedbergh and the Lakes.

We chose this site as it allows dogs and open fires which are both specific requirements for us while camping. Arrived on Thursday evening to be met by the very friendly owner who soon returned with a bag of logs for our fire.
As said in the other reviews, there's 2 areas, one with caravans and EHU where the very clean and tidy toilet / shower blocks are located. Across the wee burn is another field solely for tents.
We pitched up the top of the field so our fire wouldn't annoy any other campers. We hit the jackpot with the weather as well which also made us enjoy our stay at this site.
All in all a very nice, basic, quiet and tranquil setting and the site is run by a lovely farmer who always finds time to stop for a chat and make sure you have all you require.
Highly recommend it and will definitely be staying here again.

We stayed here for two nights. A really good location, Sedburgh is 3 miles away and has a few nice pubs, cafes and loads of book shops. Cautley Spout waterfall is also near by and is also worth a look at, though it is a bit of a walk to reach.
The campsite is very basic (which is how we like it), with only 2 showers, 1 in the mens and 1 in the womans. Despite this neither of us had to wait to use them. The owners are very friendly and helpful.
The only real downside was the midges which were everywhere, so you need to take repellent with you. Apart from that a lovely campsite in a beautiful area.

Just stayed one night on this very accommodating little site just off the sedbergh to appleby road
We stayed on the static part because we preferred ehu which had a toilet and shower block which were very clean. There was a field next to us on which you could camp without ehu. The residents were very helpful and friendly. Tom who I think was the owner of the farm was very nice and friendly always found time to stop for a chat The country side around the area was lovely would stay there again

Probably value for money. Nice for caravan in the caravan field. Not bad for tents in the next field. 1 shower 1 toilet but never had to queue.
Good location. Although at this time of years there are lots of caravans on the roads awaiting the nearby horse fair which can be a problem.
