The toilets and shower facilities are together and they were both clean and showers warm. Laundrette facilities next to ladies toilets so handy. The tap water was next to the site were we pitched up, didn't have to walk far for it. Very quiet site during the day, didn't have a problem at night with noise but I went during the week so dont know if that makes a difference, a few residential people spoke to us.
This site was a bit too quiet for me since there was no play park or anything for the kids to play but if your looking for a quiet break then this is the place to be
Its aboutt 5 mins in the car to go to Lanark shops and about another 5/10mins to Lanark loch, a great place to take a picnic, walk round the loch plenty of swans for the kids to feed

Tom Tom found site entrance using post code. Site is flat & electric boxes are nearby also the water. The site is located along a narrow lane.
Town is only 5 minutes drive away which has all facilities. While we were there workman were staying in tatty caravans & it was noisy at night. Poor security. Toilets & showers were fine.

Arrived mid afternoon at the site but unfortunately the owner had gone to pick up her children from school so there was no-one to help us. When we did get to see her, she said we could pitch our tent anywhere we liked but didn't actually show us the area. She then went off out again, without telling us where the toilets or showers were.
We felt we were in the way, especially as we were the only tent there, surrounded by statics and tourers. The toilet and shower block was large, but there were only 3 plugs to 6 sinks and they didn't fit! But the showers were lovely and hot and the block was clean.
There was a laundry with washing machine and industrial size drier but the room was rather dirty. Also, there was no washing up facilities.
It was in a lovely area, in between 2 rivers and with a little TLC this could be a lovely site. Lanark was a nice town with plenty of places to eat but in the surrounding area we were hard pushed to find anywhere that served food.
