I stayed at this site for 3 weeks in July,
The shower blocks are clean, it is a short walk to the Tesco Supermarket and town centre.
It is a long walk to the play area for the kids from the touring area. My family used the pool and said it was freezing.
The on site chip shop wasnt worth going to as they didn't seem to have a clue how to run a chippy.
They have a daft booking system which means if you wish to prolong your stay they have you moving over the field despite the fact that there are other free spaces they could put incoming guests into.
The best thing about this park is the clubhouse, it is without the best entertainment we have encountered, every night there is something different to keep you entertained,
We will be returning!

We have just returned from a 5 night break at the Richmond. It was our first outing with our new to us Touring Caravan. Check in was easy and efficient, and the touring area easy to find. Pitches are grass but well drained and quite flat.
The facilities are excellent there was a large toilet block which was warm and spotlessly clean, plenty of showers and sinks. Even sinks to wash up. The entertainment was great every night, food and drink are very reasonable and high quality. We also used the pool again - all very clean.
You can walk into Skegness in about 15 mins (nice flat walk)
We were very impressed and will return again.

Had a midweek visit here in our Folding Camper.
The site was very quiet being that most children were at school.
The site is very pleasant considering the size and booking in was done with the minimum of fuss though there was a cue at 3pm when the office opened but this soon cleared though may be more of a problem when the site is busy.
On site shop was adequate but Tesco and Lidl and Morrison's just up the road.
Town centre was a short walk away.
The toilet/shower block were always warm and clean and the site was very clean with regular patrols by security through the night.
A pleasant visit and will certainly be repeated.

Had a cracking holiday, plenty to do even on the wet days. Site within walking distance of the town, rail and bus stations. For those with limited mobility the nearby cricket field offers car parking for £4 all day, giving access to the town.
Kids club on site ok but repetitive over the ten days. Bar prices reasonably.
FAULTS:- Could do with a kids play area near touring area. Pool is only a basic indoor pool.

Just returned from a weekend at Richmond caravan park, lovely clean toilets and showers. Shower block only a short walk from touring pitches. The busy venue is very large, busy and the price of drinks are completely fair. The chip shop on site is a Gem, again very good prices and very good food. We had a problem with our electric tripping out which was our fault for having the kettle tv fridge plus more on at the same time. The night warden was brilliant he came very quickly even though it was our fault his attitude and manners were fantastic. He is a great asset to this park. Thank you.
All on all this is a very good clean site with everything on site you want and only a short walk into the very busy town of Skegness.
There is a very large play area which is a fair walk from the touring area but it is well laid out and safe
There is a free inside swimming pool plus typical seaside amusement arcade to keep the kids entrained
We would highly recommend this site and we will be visiting again

Following a visit last Easter to Richmond, which despite the weather was tremendous, we were eager to return and enjoy Easter 2014.
The entry into Skegness took considerably longer than expected and upon our eventual arrival we learned that a few hundred travellers had taken illegal residence upon the seafront car park, thus causing massive congestion due to several hundred car parking spots being made unavailable.
Regrettably the theme was established for the weekend, with enjoyment of the towns eating, drinking and entertainment facilities a non starter. We witnessed some terrible conduct on Easter Saturday, and remained on the park for the remainder of the stay.
The park itself also had issues with a number of its residents this particular weekend. Their security personnel made sure that everyone stayed safe, but the overall feel was intimidating and not that that we so enjoyed the year before.
Because of this use of the facilities was limited by our family, and this was a frustration especially for our teenagers.
A sad experience overall, though not totally down to the park.
This is an ongoing issue at Skegness, and it is reported in the local press that the August Bank Holiday will see a similar situation, a problem for holiday makers and local businesses alike.

Having stayed at Richmond we thought we had the site sussed, booked pitch 61 (from 55 - 61 benefit from a large space behind) but as we are caravanners who like to mix this put us in a position where the awning faced onto the road and its hard to mingle with your neighbours.
The showers are normally clean, not always the most powerful, but I did notice quite a few people heading down from some of the static vans to use them. Given a choice I'd use my own in a static.
I like this site as its position puts you a 10-15 minute walk from town/shops. Tesco 5 mins away.
The swimming pool is a bit basic, they won't let you use inflatables, so is a bit limited.
The Local paddling pool is only a 15 minute walk and is FREE!
People moaning about paying to wash up, its a caravan site, and you have a caravan, it should have a sink, use it!

I have just returned from a week at Richmond holiday centre with my husband and two children.
On arrival at the park we quickly found our pitch, which was nice and flat and evenly spaced from other caravans. Plenty of room for an awning as well as a car. I found the park in general quite neatly kept and tidy. The touring pitches are at the top end of the site, but not far from the main buildings. The train tracks run past the touring pitch but noise was never a problem at all.
Our pitch was next to the centrally located shower block. The shower block was a little outdated, but adequately clean and tidy each time I went in. There are six showers in the ladies block, and I never had to wait to use one. We had a bit of a heat wave whilst I was there, so I quite enjoyed the cool running water in the shower, however, my 6&8 year old children were not so appreciative. Since other reviews state that there was always hot running water I'm not sure if the site was having problems with the showers or they had purposely set temperature adequate to the weather???
On site there was a laundrette, small shop, club house and swimming pool as well as a fish and chip shop. The shop didn't have a wide variety, and was possibly overpriced, but Tesco is only a 5 minute walk away so not a problem. The clubhouse and amusements were again a bit dated but entertainment was good. Disco, bingo then live entertainment every night, but the live entertainment didn't start til 9:30. Swimming pool was cold and small and very deep so everyone tended to congregate in the bottom left hand corner (as a third of the pool was closed for members lane swimming). Again showers a bit cold.
The fish and chip shop fry fish to order so always fresh, and they were lovely, however, had a small disagreement with the arrogant boy behind the counter due to a mix up in orders. I ordered fish and chips with peas on, fish and chips with curry sauce on, small fish and chips and just a portion of chips. How hard is that? He managed to think I ordered two of all that, then stood arguing with me about it, insisting I ordered six fish! To be honest though, I found the same arrogance from everyone in Skegness. Maybe it's too busy to be bothering with good manners and customer services.
We had a walk into town with the kids on their bikes, which took about fifteen minutes, but was a nice walk. Plenty of places to eat and drink in town with all the traditional seaside attractions. I would recommend a drive into indoldmells for rides at fantasy island though. You Pay for a wristband instead of tokens, and not badly priced. Again, plenty of places to eat and drink there too.
This review may sound like I'm moaning, but I would honestly return to Richmond Holiday Centre, I just wanted to give an honest review rather than a sugar coated one!

We have just returned from a very enjoyable Easter break at Richmond.
We found it unusual that so few reviews had been left for this site (Two in the past three years and none for the past eighteen months)on the UKCampsite website, but it is fair to say that this is no reflection on the park.
The park is spread across a large area and caters predominately for static vans but also has a good size field for up to 60 Touring vans.
The park has several facilities, notably an indoor family pool, a bar, restaurant, chip shop, amusement arcade, children's park area and shop.
The park also lay on entertainment for all the family, kids disco, bingo and several decent musical acts. Not everyone's cup of tea, but popular with many from what we saw.
The park was well maintained and the toilets clean. The showers were piping hot and again, very clean. One observation, not a criticism of the park, is that we noted the toilets being cleaned and when we used them less than an hour later paper was scattered about and the toilets not flushed. If this is the consideration that some guests have at the park it must be a very disheartening task to keep it as well as they do.
The park is a fifteen minute walk from the beach and town area where masses of eateries can be found to suit every taste. Because of there being so many places to eat, it tends to be very cheap to eat in the town. The beach is clean and lots of traditional stuff is on offer; donkey rides, arcades and ice cream stalls.
Tesco is five minutes walk from the park.
The park offers similarly good value as the rest of 'Skeggy' costing us £80 for the extended weekend for the whole family and dog including Swimming pool and evening entertainment, EHU and awning
Good value, good site and a park that we could recommend if you are seeking a traditional seaside break.
