Cannot fault the site. Excellent location, large pitches, very friendly, nothing is too much trouble.
We will definitely be returning. Have to say it is the best site we have stayed on.

We booked last minute on the Saturday morning to stay here over the bank holiday weekend. I sent a booking enquiry late Friday evening & received a reply first thing Saturday. We found out when leaving the ‘reception is the little petrol station on the way in.
We had to ring to find out where to pitch up, but the gentleman who I’m guessing was probably Vince came to find us & gave us a choice of the 2 pitches left.
Our review’s probably slightly swayed by the spot we were given. We were in a little corner by the well with a wheat field behind us, which felt really private & spacey for our 3 & 4 year old. The site was mainly tourers, a lot seemed seasonal. It was very quiet in terms of noise for a bank holiday.
It’s safe & child friendly, but without a playground or one within walking distance. There doesn’t seem to be much in the way of public transport, but they were very good about us taking our camper back out for the day, & there’s an Aldi & the usual fast food places a 10 minute drive away.
However the site is very rural. We went to Colwyn Bay for the day. Quiet even on a bank holiday. Lovely big clean stretch of beach, parking on the promenade £3. 50 for the day.
Be aware the site asks for your rubbish separating for recycling, & the phone signal’s intermittent. I believe there’s only 2 ladies & 2 gents showers on site, but these didn’t get too busy as mainly caravans. Lovely hot showers too, & very clean.
For £19 per night with EHU we were very impressed.

Hadn't been here for years, rang and booked spoke to Vince who was very helpful. Met us when we arrived and showed us to our pitch and gave good advice about parking position etc.
Site is spotless with two good toilet / shower blocks.
Its a quiet site with no playground etc, but Towyn and a few other busy places are near by.
Its ideal for touring North Wales as its just off the A55 so you can easily drive to many other places nearby is Abergele which has all the usual shops, the on site shop is very well stocked.
The only addition I would like to see would be a pot and pan washing area, but other than that its excellent and good value.

We stayed at this site for 5 nights (Sunday to Friday) over the Spring bank holiday week. The site is very quiet and mainly seasonal pitches, very tidy and well kept. It's next to a road which we thought may have disturbed us in the mornings but didn't.
The owner showed us to a pitch when we arrived but we were given no information on site rules, where the facilities were etc. There was no sign of any recycling facilities so we took our own to the supermarket.
There were 2 toilet blocks, I assume identical but only visited one. Mens on one side and ladies on the other, two toilets, two sinks and a large shower room which also had a toilet in each one. The toilets were clean and fully tiled, surrounded by a well kept garden.
The ladies would benefit from new toilet seats though as they went to one side when you sat on them! I didn't see any signs of heating so not sure what they would be like over winter, the weather was warm for our visit.
We took our bikes and cycled along the coastal path - fantastic for cycling and mainly flat, one day we went from Abergele to past Prestatyn and back, the second day from Abergele to Conway and back, you can also get to Llandudno. We parked in Abergele on our cycling days as the site is about 3 miles outside Abergele, up a long hill!
There was no playground and no footpaths round the site for walking or running, you have to drive wherever you're going. The site is behind a petrol station which has a shop although we didn't visit it.
It would benefit from tourist information leaflets - we would have found some cycling routes handy as we didn't see these until after we'd finished our cycling days. We didn't have any mobile phone or internet access on the site and the TV reception was poor - the seasonal pitches all seemed to have large aerials outside their caravans.
We paid £18 per night for a car, caravan, two adults and an awning. Overall a lovely site and we would stay again.

Just had 7 fantastic days and nights at this park, the weather was fabulous all week.
There are many plus's to this sight like good clean toilet facilities and a pleasant outlook, good shop at the garage, pubs 3 miles away in Abergele and the cafe (Farmhouse Kitchen) is highly recommended, Also Tesco in town.
The toilets are not suitable for disabled, this could be rectified by leveling the approach to the entrance door, installing a plastic chair in the shower and adding a grab handle, their are no urinal basins just cubicles (mens)which waste a lot of water.
The grey waste area could be vastly improved and a hosepipe fitted. The chemical emptying point needs updating and again a hosepipe fitted at the correct height.
Overall the site is worth the £16 for 2 adults p/n + £2 for an awning. We will definitely be returning in the near future. The majority of tourers on site are permanently sited for the season, it's easy to see why.

First time we have used this site but very impressed. Owner helpful and friendly. Quiet and peaceful site in the countryside but easy access to wherever you want to travel in North Wales.
Most of the tourers on site were seasonal and the owners friendly. Shop and garage for fuel adjacent to site (very handy). Also found a small meadow next to the site for walking the dog.
Facilities for water, grey waste and elson all close by, toilets very clean and well thought out. Overall a very enjoyable stay and would certainly go again to this site.
