Aug-Sep 2003 All I can say is what a wonderful site. We went to the UKCAMPSITE 2003 SCOTTISH MEET here
The staff were very friendly and helpful at all times, I had a word with robin (site owner), who gave me more info.
Where we were pitched the scenery was fantastic, every where you looked, it was nice to just sit and have a drink and gaze all around to take it all in.
We had a walk by the river Tay which was at the side of the site, very nice and peacful.
The first night we ate at the resturant, food was very good and quick service.
We stayed there a week, and would go back there.
Toilets and showers are very clean and you dont pay extra for showers which is a bonus, but you do have to keep pressing the push button in which is the only thing that was annoying (just a little nit pick there) as it's the only one I can find.

August 2003 We were here as part of the UKCampsite Scottish Meet 2003 and I found this site of excellent quality.
On arrival site staff were helpful and pointed out all the facilities on the site including things to do in the local area and the large children's play area.
The site has a number of touring pitches, some with hook-up's some without, but every pitch available is near to fresh water and only a slight walk to the facilities.
The toilets/showers were clean and well maintained and they supplied a mop and bucket to clean up after yourself when finishing your shower. The showers were not directional and did not have a temperature control and were of a push button, but they were adequetly warm enough and as long as you kept one hand on the button, the water keeps coming, it is a little too short if you just press and release.
There were a number of statics on site which did not affect things in the slightest, the site is big enough to cope with statics as well as the tenters and tourers.
There is a clubhouse on site selling Strongbow, Guiness and a selection of other beers, wines and spirits. There is also a very reasonably priced bistro attached to the bar serving up a great selection of both kids and adult meals.
There is a shop on site selling all the essentials including daily fresh groceries, and non-perishable items. They sell both camping and calor gas.
The scenery from the site is breathtaking and the site is located on the River Tay, on the East shore of Loch Tay where you can fish, hire boats, paddle and just generally chill out. Kenmore itself is very picturesque but has little in the way of shops, you are better off travelling the 6 miles to Aberfeldy for the shops, cashpoint etc.
There is plenty of walking around the site and in close proximty to Kenmore and a quick jump in the car takes you to the Falls of Dochart in Killin plus much much more. There were dogs on site but they like them to be kept on a lead.
Would I go back again? Like a shot, an excellent site with excellent facilities and great value at just £15 per night for 2 adults, 2 kids, electric and the trailer tent.

August 2003 Just spent six nights at Kenmore and didn't want to leave. It's an excellent site with beautiful scenery. The washing facilities are very good and cleaned regularly through the day. The onsite shop has most things required while camping and there is also a small general store in Kenmore Village. Aberfeldy only 6 miles down the road has a very good butcher and a couple of supermarkets. The Kenmore Hotel is just across the bridge over the river and has beautiful views of the Tay from the beer garden and restaurant. The Byre restaurant serves meals all day. We ate there one night and the food was very good. It's a very family orientated site where children can have an adventurous time. ( we don't have any) The management were very friendly. A site I would certainly recommend. Lin

June 2001 We arrived on early Thursday and pitched our tent, loads of space, by the time Friday came there was no room to move!!!!! Apart from that the scenery and surrounding area made up for it. Great facilities and the river (with the ducks) that ran through the park kept our 4 year old amused. Great for walks and cycling.

July 2003 Kenmore Camping and Caravan Park is situated on the River Tay and has views of both the river and Loch Tay. The Caravan Park has excellent facilities. The toilet blocks are kept extremely clean and tidy. There is a Bistro and a Pub located adjacent to the main camping area which serves good food at reasonable prices.
If you enjoy a spot of Golf then there are two Courses - one on site and of course the Taymouth Castle Club. Fishing is also very popular amongst the campers and of course if that is all too strenuous then you can just sit and relax and watch the ducks waddling around the site! So far this year we have been to this park 3 times and are heading there again in a few weeks for the UK Camp Site's first Scottish Meet!
Loch Tay has some absolutely beautiful viewpoints and there is a cycle path all the way to Killin at the far end of the Loch. I must admit we cheated and drove down the main road to Killin and drove back via the Cycle route (no.7). We were lucky and spotted Red Deer in the trees at the side of the track and also had a glimpse of a Red Squirrel, unfortunately on both occasions I didn't get to my camera quick enough. There are bicycles and boats available for hire by the slipway at Kenmore.
This is an Excellent base for sightseeing around this area which has plenty to do. The caravan Park reception has a mass of brochures for campers which detail some great days out. If you can't make up your mind just ask the staff who are only too happy to help.

May 2003 At last I am submitting my review on Kenmore!
Very Pleasant site, quiet after about 11pm. At 12pm all vehicular traffic ceases on this site which is strictly adhered to, something I approve of. Toilet blocks are immaculate. A mop and bucket are provided for campers to clean up the shower cubicles after use which again is a great idea. I cannot praise the management or staff highly enough who are always happy, cheerful, and very helpful with a great knowledge of the surounding area. The two golf courses are both within easy walking distance as are the Loch and River Tay were Fly fishing by permit is allowed With the perthshire hills as a magnificent backdrop to the site one could not ask for better scenery. There are plenty of walks and cycle paths in the area which should keep the fit folks happy for hours. The Disabled persons facilities are very well laid out and immaculately kept. I would point out that for wheelchair users there are some medium inclines on this sight and you will need a push up these. There ar two childrens play areas which were being used by a very happy bunch of kids when we were there. We were also lucky enough to watch a football match on the camps own football pitch on this visit. Campers and caravannners alike form the bairns to the more mature where involved in the footie game, my only comment would be that I was glad I didn't have to referre this match as there did seem to be rather a lot of cheating going on. This was our second visit to Kenmore and definately not our last. We are going to return here for odd weekends throughout the season as there is so much to see and do. We were lucky enough to see Deer, Grouse(the birds not the whisky) and a red squirrel along with ducks, ducks and more ducks. The Bistro and bar just next to the site are very warm and friendly and although we did not partake of a meal we were told by those who had that it was to a very high standard. I do believe I spotted a stables next to the Bistro but I did not investigate, got to leave something to start with on our next visit. Kenmore definately gets our 'Thumbs up approval'

June 2003 Absolutely Lovely Site !
We spent the weekend here and found the Wardens very helpfull , the Facilities Spotlessly Clean and the Scenery som of the finest in Scotland.
Shop on site has most things you will ever need including Video Tape Hire , Refreshments for both kids and big Kids :)
There are loads of walks and cycle area's all round the area , also Golf courses (2 within walking distance) , Fishing is allowed (fly fishing) from both the River Tay and Loch Tay which are both unbelievably 2 mins from the site , Permits for both are available from the Reception .
We spent most of the weekend walking and admiring the scenery and generally relaxing .
There is a licensed restuarant on site also , although we never had the time to eat there we did partake a refreshment in the beer garden after a long Walk .
Definately a site to at least visit once , we intend going back again soon .
