A nice site with large well maintained level pitches. Toilets and showers clean 2 basins, showers and toilets for males females plus 1 shower and 1 toilet for disabled site was empty so no problem with ques but might be a problem if busy. Bar with hot food on site we didn't use it but others on site said it was good. There is key carded barrier at entrance. There is a fishing platform on most pitches with room for one person so if all the family want to fish there would be a problem . The new site owner are putting in log cabins and static caravans so I would check to see if camping is still available before turning up

We have just returned from a long weekend break at this site. A very nice site where we received a warm welcome. The Clubhouse is very comfortable and a variety of food was being served. Toilets and Showers were nice and clean and whilst there was only two showers there was no queueing. Very tranquil site. Recommended!

Hi just to let you know that this site has now been taken over by a larger company (who also own Pisces Park) The clubhouse has just been re-furbished and although we don't smoke so it is not a problem for us is apparently now non smoking. Whilst dogs are allowed on the site on a lead, they are still not allowed in the club.which I think is a bit of a shame as many campers love to take their dogs along with them rather than leave them in caravans and tents etc.

We had a lovely time at floods ferry. It was so peaceful. The owners are very friendly and helpful. My husband loved the fishing, he only had to go out the door and there was the river. The toilets are very clean at all times. A great site for a quiet peaceful holiday

This is such a great campsite. We were attracted to the site after reading the other reviews and we certainly weren't disappointed. The owners are really friendly and welcoming, and helped us out when we needed to get directions and find out where the nearest tackle shop was! We spent some time in the clubhouse, which is really like a nice little local pub, and got chatting to some really friendly 'regulars' who made us feel very welcome. The toilet and shower facilities are probably the nicest that I've seen anywhere - very clean and warm, and although the site was apparently quite busy (although it certainly didn't feel crowded) we never had to queue to use either the toilets or the showers. The site is definitely in a beautiful spot. It's very peaceful (apart from at 4am when the birds wake you with their dawn chorus - but bring earplugs if you think this will bother you!), and we saw kingfishers and terns. My partner had a great day fishing, and it's so handy to have your own swim, right outside your tent. We've already booked to go back this weekend!

A lovely small campsite with the pitches being on the side of the canal with your own fishing platform, the owners are really friendly and helpful, we enjoyed an hour in the small clubhouse and the pizzas where great, and the prices very reasonable. We didnt find the drive in to bad, we came in via Peterbourgh and it wasn't to bumpy and we have a low car plus trailer tent. We will definatly be going back.

Hi we have been to this site twice now, in June of this Year and just returned, we find it lovely and peaceful with lovely views across the Fens and beautiful sunsets in Summer Months.
The small Town of March is delightful with plenty of little places to eat etc and a handful of shops what I like is the laid back atmosphere not the hustle bustle of the larger Towns and lots of little different shops to wander around.
We haven't used the Club Site mainly because dogs aren't allowed and our Yorkie just doesn't like being left in the caravan so I can't really comment on the Club (other than to say if you have a dog that doesn't like being left in it is not for you) but we love being by the side of the canal with the barbi sizzling away, although the site is open all Year I think the club opens Weekends only from around this week (late Sept).
We will return to this site again and again Hubby loved the fishing from the canal bank.

Just got back from Floods ferry and we had a great time. The owner was really friendly and the toilet block was very nice, 2 showers and 2 wc each for male and female, the showers were free and the toilets were separate, not just a partition between them, there was new soap on the sinks and they were spotlessly clean. One small point there was no hairdryer or a socket to plug one in. there was also a disable toilet and a disable shower in two separate rooms.
The small club house was really cute no bright lights just a cosy little pub and very friendly staff, it also had another room with a pool table, it sold basic but good food that you could eat in or take out, and their prices for drinks and food were reasonable, we got two small bottle of wine for 2.50.
The site is long and thin, so all the touring pitches are along the side of the canal, with individual fishing platforms to each pitch and the pitches were very very big, our one which was the disable pitch was massive, it was next two the slip way and had a sloped path at the side of the slipway down on to a large fishing platform, which as they hadn't any booking for it was ideal for my brother to moore his boat as he had sailed it up from ramsey for the 3 nights we were here.
We had a lovley time and from out tt we had a great view across the canal to fields as far as the eye could see, the fishing was great, we caught Tench, pike, eels, lots of little ones, the guy next to us caught a Zander. There's 4 swans that seem to live there and lots of dragonflys, herons and I saw my first Kingfisher!
Its a lovley little site and we are definatly going back next year and staying a bit longer, the people in the caravan next to us had come all the way down from Inverness because they like it so much.

This campsite is such a bonus for people who love to go fishing! You camp right next to the river so you don't have to go far! The campsite is great, the pub is not bad priced and friendly. The owners are friendly and helpful too! It is a bit of a problem to find and the road leading to it is a bit bumpy and the local shop is a couple of miles and a pain to get to but if you take most stuff with you, you'll be fine. The tarrif was very good and the site is well kept. Must say it is not for young kids but my son loved it he was fishing from 6.30am til dark. The toilets and shower blocks are clean and warm. It was a wonderful stay and we would definitely go back. They get a 10/10 from us! Thank You
