Well if you have kids this is the place for a great holiday.
At reception they have the usual English speakers. If you book with a company their reps are just around the corner from the main reception area.
On site the pools are excellent and spotless. There are plenty of water slides for the madder of your muppets and a nice shallow seperate pool for the diddy kids. The site itself is very well maintained with a small shop selling the usual supplies. It has its own bakery so the smell of fresh bagettes fills the morning air. Most of the big camping companies are on here Keycamp, Canvas, Matthews etc.
The site has entertainment every evening during the high season but this stops at about 11pm so noise isn't too much of a problem. This year however I did notice that the sites bar was open until after midnight so there were one or two people on foot early in the morning. Nothing to worry about but a fair review should have some minus points too.
There are good quality bikes of all sizes on the site for hire so you wont need to transport your own across the water. The site has tennis courts and a play area.
The site itself has almost direct access onto a superb beach (and I mean superb) The beach itself is about a ten minute flip flop amble along a proper pathway through a tree lined area then over a small set of dunes. Without doubt this beach is brill for kids as its clean, and has no sudden drops into the sea.
In the area are Benodet and Concarneau,
both are nice little towns but Concarneau has the better shopping areas (so the wife said). The walled castle is a must as it contains dozens of little shops and cafes. En-route to Concarneau is one of those Le'clerc supermarkets where you can buy everything you may need food wise and fuel for the motor.
I think the main thing I should try to put over in this (or any) review is would I be happy to recommend this site to my best friend......Well I already have done, they have been and loved it too....
