Stayed for 3 nights, in a tent with a hook up. Field is kept very neat and tidy grass was very short. We were lucky as the field was almost empty otherwise as said in other reviews a lot of pitches can be on a steep slope. Toilets and showers are clean and tidy plenty of hot water also included in the overnight price so no extra charge to use the showers. Water tap is in the next field, so is the rubbish area and must be in black bags. There is a small play area for children with a climbing frame and slide, looks like it needs an upgrade or at least a lick of paint, not a lot in the way of stuff for kids to do, but then there is enough room to run around the field and play with a ball etc, plus the beach and rockpools are not far away.
No dogs allowed on the site.
If you stay at the top of the field (no hookups they are at the bottom) you get a sea view.

The toilets / shower blocks were clean and tidy. The facilities for bar and food area were new. There was electric hookups that you need not pay extra. Shops and pubs where along the Borth promenade, a ten minute walk down hill. So maybe 15 minutes up hill back to site. There was need I think for more than one tap for water from a site this big. We paid for the site plus they said there was entertainment so we paid the price they asked as we thought there would be some form of entertainment in the evening, especially that it was Friday through to Monday we booked and there was no entertainment whatsoever.

Turned up without booking for 4 days in June. The one week where the sun shone all week!
The tourer/tent site was empty bar us, another tent and one or two caravans. Good site services - toilets, showers. New entertainment block built but we didn't use it.
Would imagine place gets packed in school holidays and B/H weekends.
Site staff very friendly and helpful.
Site field was spacious with hook ups available.
Location is spectacular, fantastic walks and beach location. Borth village has charm but a little run down, imagine a welsh valleys town by the sea!
Has a superb Bandladeshi restaurant and take away!
Will be returning!

Enjoyed our stay for 6months the club was great food was excellent really good value for money. But unfortunatly due to the bad weather where we we situated we got flooded awning ruined beyond repair caravan was damaged along with outside furnishings. So be aware the bottom of the left side of field is prone to flooding ! Toilet block showers etc were excellent plenty hot water and very clean.
Surrounding areas good.

Just returned from a bank holiday weekend. Campsite was small, quiet with about 30 tents + caravans. Toilets and showers kept clean with plenty of hot water and toilet paper. On site clubhouse had a well stocked fairly priced bar and excellent well priced food. Take away also available. Amusements, pool tables and park. Borth beach is pebbly but a lovely beach 5 minutes drive at Ynyslas where you can drive on to the beach and pay £1 for the day. Plenty of supermarkets, gift shops and cafe along Borth sea front. Would recomend. Will definitely visit again.

Visited this site a number of times with tent in hand. Tent camping is on rather an incline, so if you can get a spot at the top or bottom centre of the field, you should be OK, otherwise be prepared for some judicious moving of your sleeping arrangements. Tourers be similarly aware that at busy periods you may be sharing the incline. Shop / clubhouse on site. Entertainment seems to be laid on most Saturdays, I think, in high season and many regulars seem to go for the beer and singing - if you don't relish the sound of screaming adults then you'd be better off staying away. Beautiful scenery, Borth beach is best seen from the hillside and Brynrodyn has the most enviable position of all the sites. Clean facilities with one washing up sink, that only we ever seem to use - what does everybody else do?
