Visited this site again for a weekend, despite the dismal weather, the pitches gave wonderful shelter on the lower half of the field, however the upper side of the touring site did seem a lot more exposed due to the wind & rain direction. Showers and toilets were cleaned daily, even though there were only approx 10 units on site due to low season and poor weather. My only criticism was that even in mid season, it would have been nice to have had the games room and/or the bar to have opened as it didn't open until 7.30 which was a bit late I felt in those weather conditions and a weekend. Looking forward to visit this site again in sept as I feel its good value off peak @approx 15 a night(2adults+ 2kids + elec) and not having to pay for showers or hot water.

Nice laid back site, all the touring pitches were on the perimeter of the field which added to privacy along with a huge hedge between each unit made a relaxing holiday. Kids loved the space in the middle for ball games. We were pitches at the end of the field which was quite along way from the toilet block but our kids are older so it didnt pose a problem, if you've got younger kids perhaps it's a good idea to phone and ask for a pitch close to the toilets. Shop was great, kids went for sweets etc, small kids play area which was situated right outside the bar. The site is quite remote, no pubs or shops to walk to but its very secluded. Tenby is about 8 miles away and also saundersfoot which for some people may be a long drive.

Pitches are on the slightly sloping field, arranged around the outer edge and separated by hedges for privacy. Not the largest pitches I have ever come across. Large grassed area in middle for ball games. Crofters club on site with small arcade for kids reasonably priced. Small shop in reception selling some essentials and sweets. Toilet block very dated and to be honest quite shabby.

Spent a week here in Aug 2006 this is a peaceful & very well set out campsite with hedges seperating each pitch giving you a feeling of privacy, the campsite itself is in a beautiful location and boasts a David Bellamy silver award for conservation. The facilities on site include a clubhouse, small park, an area for ball games, a small shop stocking the daily basics newspapers, bread, milk, ciggies etc. a toilet block & seperate shower block, washing facilities, a launderette and a small arcade. If your looking for a peaceful stay then I would definitely recommend this site we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. If there was anything I felt needed to be improved upon and now I feel as though i'm just 'nitpicking' it would be the lighting in the toilet blocks, but it really pains me to say anything negative about this site. Like I've said we had a lovely stay and would definitely consider staying here again.

August 2005 Have just returned from this site in the last few days and can recommend this site if you want to visit local attractions as the site is very well placed for Folly Farm, Oakwood and Tenby itself. I have 3 boys aged 12 and 10 year old twins and the site was ideal for them to play using the large playing field which had football nets in place, bikes and co-karts are available to rent at £4.00 for half an hour or £7 for an hour. The only complaints I have is that the toilets are in desperate need of updating and need to be cleaned more often as used sanitary products where on the womens toilet floor for days, overall I would recommend this site for basic camping facilities but brilliant for sight seeing, would not say it was 4 stars though

August 2005 Spacious campsite, the outdoor play area and football pitch kept the children occupied. Conifer hedges between the pitches gave privacy. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Used the 'Crofters Club' restaurant a couple of times, the food was delicious. Felt that the 4 star rating was a little generous as the toilet and shower blocks required updating and had poor lighting. (Also the toilet block was not cleaned and checked sufficiently, some of the debris and dirt on the floor was still there a day or two, empty toilet roll holders etc).On the whole a good site.

May 2005 Very good campsite, would recommend! Great space for kids to play!
The showers and toilets in separate blocks is a bit awkward when you've got children and they could do with a little updating, however they were cleaned daily to a good standard!
Did not go to the on site pub, but it was always very busy.
The mini market was very small but it had a good supply of breakfast items, disposable barbecues, gas refills etc.

April 2005 Cxcellent basic site close to Tenby. Good pub on site with nice atmosphere. Small shop, large play area for kids. Did not use shower block so can`t comment on them. Been here twice and will definetly return again. Best directions is to follow the signs to Folly Farm, continue past farm on left for about 1 mile, take first left at Boars Head pub, then second left, site about 1/2 mile on right.

Aug 2003 Basic but clean site and facilities, female facilities seem nicer than male (my husband says) had 12 and 14 yr olds with us and found plenty to do around the area. Out of town site felt secure and was mostly quiet and peaceful. would happily spend more time there.

August 2003 As A 4star rated camping site I was dissapointed with the quality of this site. The shower & toilet block although clean were badly showing signs of old age & was also over grown with shrubbery. This made it an unpleasant trip to the loo at midnight with a young daughter. The site it self was well laid out and clean.
