We stayed a single Saturday night only booking on the morning of our stay. Craig at the site was welcoming and helpful. The site was good, we had a very large area for our tent (6m x 3x), with plenty of room for the car and for the kids to play.
The location is peaceful and has good scenery, despite only being a couple of miles from the A1.
We would stay again and we'd recommend the site to anyone.

It was really peaceful. The Scots were back in school and the site was more or less empty. It is mainly static caravans, probably not more than 10-12 tourers. All tents that need electric hookups are placed in the tourer section.
Amply lit by night.
The site was empty but the toilets and showers were still cleaned at least daily and I think even twice daily.
Quiet. Not ultra friendly. The regulars don't really mix with the newcomers, but that was fine for us.
The water and dustbins were well spaced out.

We stayed on this site in a tent. The tent pitches have two locations, one on a slope and one on level ground with EHU's. Each of the pitches are surrounded by static caravans and can be used by tents and tourers.
There was a playground near to the pitches which was nice but could have benefited from seats for those supervising and possibly more to play on.
The facilities include a basic toilet/shower block with hairdryers for 20p and a washing room with washing machine, dryer and iron for £1.50-20p.
The site is quiet and is surrounded by fields with sheep who often come down from the hills to the site for a wander! This sight was great for children although their visit also meant their dropping were everywhere, although we believe these may have been cleared up on at least one of the days.
The surrounding area is lovely with a lot to do especially for children.
Our only complaint would be the close proximity of the tents to the static caravans

Arrived on a Windy Sunday. There is two areas for tents, one is elevated with a slope up to it and the other is on the flat. The elevated ones is between hedges and the other has hook up points.
We pitched our tent on the bottom of the slope near the hedge due to the wind. 50 to 70 mph We were meant to be there for 4 days but left after 1 due to the weather. Our Coleman tent took a pounding but held up (Coleman's rock). I was wondering if when we woke up we would be in the Land of Oz paying the Wizard a visit.
Toilets were clean and spacious. Shower cubicles were large and tiled. Hair dryer in the gent 20p There is a laundry which cost £1.50 per wash and a dryer 50p a go. This is also where you can wash the dishes. Everything was clean and tidy
The site is mostly statics with some tourers.
There is no shop on the site. It is 8 miles to Dunbar with a Big Asda on the way.
I will definitely be going back for the scenery and the peace and quiet.

We have just returned from visiting this lovely camp site.
The site is situated in the most beautiful countryside at the bottom of the Lammamuir Hills. If it's peace and quiet you're after then this site is perfect.
The tent and touring pitches are large and most have access to an electrical hook up.
Whilst the toilet block looks a bit dated from the outside, it's absolutely huge and spotlessly clean.
There's a small washing up area, again kept very clean, and a washer and dryer. I had hoped that there would be somewhere that we could refreeze our ice packs but there was no freezer available. A lovely couple who had a seasonal pitch offered to let us use their freezer which was an absolute godsend.
The site is only a few miles from the beautiful coast line with fantastic beaches. Dunbar is a lovely town to visit with some nice restaurants, try the italian on the high street, it comes highly recommended. You'll also find an Asda superstore and petrol station here.
The lovely secluded beach of Coldingham is 8 miles away, but is definitely worth a visit, there's a lovely cafe that serves hot and cold food, the kids can also hire body boards and wetsuits by the hour if you happen not to have taken any togs with you!
The campsite itself doesn't have a shop and the closest one is in the village which is about a mile away. The site is very secure with a barrier, but doesn't have a resident warden. There's a great playground for the children to enjoy, you can also play spot the bunny, as there are loads around!
We were originally staying for 4 nights but decided to stay a little longer as it was so nice. It's somewhere that we will definitely be going back to.

Came here with a 6 an 3 year old and they had a great time. The playground is good and the grounds are well kept. The showers and toilets etc are immaculate.
Lots to do nearby for kids fishing at markle fishery, swimming at dunbar, exploring harbour caves at cove. Wish you could see the playground area properly from the tent pitch, the high hedges make it impossible. Great place will def. Be back.

Really nice quiet site, quite small but friendly with good basic facilities. Good sized toilets with a number of showers in both gents and ladies. Well lit and clean. Small laundry and dish washing area.
Electric Hook ups available for tents and although tent area is not big it is well laid out and flat. Grounds well cared for and nice children's playpark close by pitching area.
Set in beautiful rural valley not far from local village, about 1/2 mile away. No shop on site and access times are limited, so prudent to call in advance.
Main barrier is closed quite early so an electronic pass is required to re access site if out late, deposit required, but helps keep site secure. Would definitely recommend and revisit.

This site was closed by new owners last year and a 2 million pound refit of site was started. They have put down new bases for statics and are selling statics. They have started taking tourers again as they still have the toilet block. Whether they will continue to take tourers when they sell more statics I don't know. It's a nice green site with hedges in between pitches. Hard standing pitch with hook up was £15.00 per night. The hardstanding part of the pitch was big enough for caravan and car and there was a bit of grass on either side of hardstanding bit. Toilet block was dated but was clean and showers were adjustable and free. Hairdryers 20p. 8 toilets and 5 showers in block. Watch when you entry shower cubicle there is a small sloping step into shower basin, which I managed to trip over, the the shower base was on a slight slope and I slide into the back wall. Saw the funny side of this, but be careful. Cove bay worth a visit, those 2 building right on the water would make a great house in great location. Visit Eyemouth harbour to see people feed the seals who come up to an orange platform at the harbour wall. Nearest supermarket seems to be a Asda at Dunbar. No shop on site, there is a small shop at Cockburnspath about a mile away open from 8am - 6 pm every day selling rolls, papers and groceries and the essential item - wine ! Would go back again. Quiet site when we were there, only about 8 statics at moment, and even though it was a bank holidays only about 10 caravans, I think people must have thought it was still closed.

We are a family with 2 young children. We really liked this site in the nice countryside but within reach of beaches (Pease Bay)and viewpoints of the coast (Cove). Clean, well kept site, nice trees, hilly area with lambs to look onto, shrubs, river walk. Areas of space in park and a fenced, grassy bit in the middle of site which spaced us from some other caravans behind. We will go back for sure. Only down-side was that at one end of the park was a field with a `Warning of Bull` and the other end `Caution deep water`- Not good for relaxing a mum! However, there were barbed wire fences at these areas and I supervise my kids anyway.

We were virgin campers until our visit to this site, and what a good decision we made. from start to finish everything was right. The prices are very reasonable, the park impeccably kept, spotlessly clean, in beautiful surroundings (no I'm not being paid for this) very friendly people around us of a mixed age group from kids to pensioners. I would reccomend this campsite to anyone, and we'll definitely be back!
