Stayed for one night on this lovely site on route to John O Groats and we were not disappointed. Close to the A9 and a stones throw from Dornoch it was an ideal stop off for the next stage of our adventure to the Highlands and Islands. The site was quiet with excellent facilities and I got a good reception from their free WiFi. The owners were very friendly and helpful and the site was so very clean and tidy. Recommended.

Absolutely amazing holiday park; fantastic views of Dornoch from an elevated position; very peaceful location; beautifully landscaped; extremely helpful warden; large open spaces with chalets well spaced out so plenty of privacy; very tidy and well kept; easily accessible from Dornoch; fantastic walks and cycle routes nearby; no noise or rowdiness; would thoroughly recommend and can't wait to return.

Lovely clean quiet site. Stayed here overnight on way to John O'Groats. Arrived late but no problems pitching site and paying in morning.
Very clean toilets/showers and wash basins with separate washing up area. Free showers. Just out Dornoch town centre and woke to sound of sheep baa-ing!
Very peaceful but probably not suitable if you have noisy children! Also, not many facilities open late in Dornoch so arrive stocked up if arriving later in evening. Would stay here again!

Lovely small quiet site perfect for an overnight stop rather than a long stay if you have kids. No play equipment for kids but if its' just an overnighter it doesn't matter! Nice walks/dog run. I don't know of there's a shop in the office as we didn't need it, but if there is one it must be tiny! WONDERFUL clean toilets and showers etc. And washing facilities supply washing liquid and cloths. Definately recommended for a short stay on your way up north!

Spotlessy clean site. Not too big, not too small. Hook ups available and the tent areas are along the perimeter of the park and are unreserved. We chose a fab plot under the trees right behind the picnic table. Free showers, laundry and washing up liquid and sponges supplied too! Toilets very very clean and spacious. Dogs allowed and there's a dog run on site. No ball games, bikes, roller blades etc to be used on site, so if you have active children, best visit another site. There isn't any play equipment on site for kids either, but there's lots of room for them to run around in. If you want total peace and quiet in a lovely sunny park in a beautiful forest setting, this is a great site. There didn't appear to be a shop on site, but perhaps reception sells things like milk etc, but I didn't check. Dornoch town is just a few minutes away. We were there in our tent for just one night with our 2 young kids and it was really relaxing and quiet.a nice change from having hoards of noisy children screaming and running about till midnight! We shall definitely stop off here again. It's a worthy stop off point just off the A9, and good for an overnight stop on your way up North.
