We have stayed here a number of times, the site is at the end of a lane, single track but it has passing places, so ok for access. Bernard is very friendly and helpful, without being intrusive. This site has the basics set up well. EHU, water taps, Chemical disposal, shower blocks, washing up and freezers. The shower blocks are basic but clean, with plenty of hot water. Bernard sells fresh free range eggs, I know they are fresh because you have to wait until the chickens have laid them and I know they are free range because you have to chase them away as you cross the farmyard. If you are after a very peaceful country stay with fantastic views and countryside, this is a great place. The nearest shop is 2 miles away, so best to check you have all you need before setting up.

We visited this site last year and really enjoyed our stay and were made to feel very welcome by the owner, who was very informative and friendly.
The site was quiet and enjoyable to be in, we felt really comfortable. The coast is nearby with lots of interesting places to visit such as Tintagel and Boscastle.
We are going back this summer in our tent as we found the tranquil environment suited us.

Just stayed here for the first time, went for 3 nights and stayed for 14. The owner is the perfect host and has a great sense of humour. The site is wonderfully quite and very relaxing. Shop and petrol station about a mile away but convenient, Bude about 10 miles up the road.
Grounds are well kept and you can wonder around approx. 40 acres of ground. I had such a wonderful stay I will be going back soon.

We visited this site a few years ago. I am not aware that much has changed. The site consists of a large level field ant the end of a single track lane. We never met anyone else on the lane whilst we were there. Access was therefore ok.
It is a little isolated but a garage with shop a couple of miles away. There were a few other campers there when we were there. Everyone seemed to know each other and were friendly.
Bernard - The owner was very friendly and had his own tent in the field although the farmhouse is nearby. He was helpful without being too intrusive. There appeared to be little activity on the farm apart from a few calves.
The toilets and showers had been recently improved when we were there but we were not impressed. It had been done very cheaply with not a lot matching or built particularly well.
A 'clubhouse' was available but this was basically on old mobile home with a fridge & veranda.
I understand the site was for sale for some time but the website still shows Bernard as the boss.
If you want to commune with nature this is probably not a bad place. If you want decent facilities for us it didn't work.
We thought it a bit expensive for what it offered.
I understand that a beach for naturist use is not too far. We did not go as access sounded a bit tricky. Bude was probably 10 - 15 minutes by car.
We haven't been back yet. The reviews on their website are very good.
