Lovely, friendly campsite, just as we had hoped for. Warm welcome when we arrived from Jimmy who showed us straight to our pitch and was always around should be need any assistance with anything at all. Weather wasn't great, but that never spoilt our stay. Still plenty for the kids do do, there was 2 parks, a zip wire and an indoor entertainment room with pool and a TV. There was a shop there that opened 3 times a day, full of sweets and goodies for the kids, and essentials like toothpaste, shower gels, tea coffe etc. Toilets and shower block was clean well cared for. I believe the laundry room and dish wash was the same although we never used these, but others did comment that this was the case. We will definitely be returning, hopefully end of August, would defo recommend this site to anyone.

Just spent a 2 night break at Jedwater Caravan park and will definitely be returning. We were met by Jimmy who took us to our pitch. We had EHU pitch which was very spacious. Toilet blocks were clean and tidy with loads of red hot water. There is a nice play park for the kids and also a small games room and shop. The campsite is about 5 minute drive from Jedburgh and also nice walks directly from campsite. Would definitely recommend this little gem of a site to everyone and can't wait to return.

Been to this campsite 4 times now and don't even look at any other campsites. The little one absolutely loves it and the site is safe. What makes this campsite is jim and liz! Nothing is ever an issue and they help in any way they can, dead laidback with the shop and amazing with little ones, looking forward to my next time up there.

Thank you for a great couple of days stop over. This really is a gem of a site. Jim & Liz make this place, what a smashing couple & nothing is too much trouble, so friendly and kind. The owner Neil is a decent guy who supported our charity & has done other charity events etc on site. This really is a special place and I'm sure has a lot of regular customers due to its special atmosphere. Looking forward to returning next summer. Great location clean tidy site. Thank you.

Just spent a great week here. Pitch was overlooking the river and had masses of space with a wooden picnic table and bench we could use. We also had great television reception with freeview as the site has just installed aerial points to plug into. The wardens Jimmy and Liz were wonderful even opening up the shop especially for us when we arrived. Toilets were clean and bright with good heating and hot water. Went to feed the hens, pigs, ponies etc. In the field nearby. A lovely rural location and we will be back.

Oh we were so happy with our stay here at Jedwater. Jim, Liz and Neil were all very accommodating and supportive of my Edinburgh to London walk. We think this was the best camp site of the whole 6 week trip! Lovely area to camp, close facilities, lovely hot showers. Good to visit Jacobs ladder just by the site. Fantastic kids area and facilities and laid on lots of activities for kids. A fantastic personal experience what a gem of a site! Lovely people and sorry to sound over the top but really did enjoy our time here!

We visited Jedwater with a group of 10 young people with learning difficulties and we could not have wished for a better site for their first attempt at camping! Jim, the site manager had a beautiful spot for us next to the river which was clean, safe and spacious. He also provided a firepit so that we could have a campfire that night which the young people thoroughly enjoyed. We have booked to stay for 3 nights in the summer as we all had such a great time in this beautiful and friendly campsite. Thank you x

Been to jedwater for the first time and had a great time, couldn't fault anything, they were very helpful if we needed anything and very sociable, plenty for kids to keep themselves entertained, will definitely be back soon. We went for a walk and we saw the lovely animals too, this isn't far from where we live but ideal location

We came to this site based on excellent reviews from friends and family, we were not disappointed.
The site is well cared for by Jim and Liz, who could not have been more friendly, helpful and kind. From the moment we arrived on site they have been there to answer our questions and provide us with excellent local knowledge of Jedburgh.
The facilities are fantastic with the shop selling everything you could need at sensible prices, I couldn't get over how cheap things were in comparison to all of the other site shops I have visited over the years.
I am really fussy about toilets and showers however, these ones are cleaned 4 times daily and are immaculate. Yes there may be times when fellow campers forget how to use a toilet correctly, this is not lack of cleaning by Liz or Jim but sadly mis use and is always cleaned immediately.
I was so impressed by the site, the facilities, the beautiful river and walks I have now sited my Tourer here which is the first time in 10 years. A testiment to the site, Jim and Liz.
The kids and I can't wait for many weekends spent in Jed.
Thanks x

Stayed at this site for the very first time may 22nd till 25th. The caravan park is excellent I have 3 children and they loved having the freedom to go to the park on their own as it is very safe and secure, we ventured across the bridge and went for a walk up the 109 stairs to the top of the hill to have an amazing view of the countryside, river jed ran at the back of out caravan and it was so nice for the kids to be able to go looking for tadpoles, their is a little shop on site that has everything you could need, toilet and shower blocks are exceptionally clean, jim and Elizabeth the site warden make you feel so welcome there, they talk to everyone and are very helpful, we enjoyed it that much we have actually bought a static caravan on site and can't wait for many more holidays, I would recommend this place to anyone, we can't wait to come back next weekend
