Toilets and showers dirty and small. Little bit of grass with no organisation as to where to pitch. Power leads running across the road. Was going to stay for the weekend but only stayed one

We stayed at this site for 4 days over the bank holiday, toilets were very clean compared to last year so well done to the cleaner. There is a caravan at the beginning of the pitches to wash dishes, also a sink with tap at the side of the gents to dispose of food. Also a water tap at the start of the pitches. Everyone was very friendly even borrowed some butter from a neighbour. We loved the 4 days even when it was cold, wet and windy. We will be going back again later this year and the singer on Saturday brought back memories of songs I forgot about. One point the outside sink can do with some sort of cover ,eg lean to/ dash roof

Poor site £18 per night all caravans tents etc cramped in to one small area at the end of a long row of static caravans, no place for the children to play as the area is crammed full of cars. The toilet facilities were poor dirty and no hot water. There is only one water point behind one of the pitches no drain for waste water you had to empty your waste water in a disgusting outside chemical toilet waste point. Such a shame as the town and beach area were so nice.

If you intend camping here, I would not recommend it. This park appears to cater mainly for the permanent residential caravans there, and caters poorly for those under a canvas. There is no facility to wash dishes, and consequently the toilet block sinks get used for that purpose. The toilet blocks were not cleaned at all during my 3 day visit, and I had to wash my face in sinks with vegetables, cooked mince and pastry lodged in the sink plugholes and stuck to the surrounding surfaces. All 3 toilet door locks were broken. The shower floors were filthy and there was no shower curtain in any of the shower cubicles. The 2 bins in the touring area overflowed onto the campsite road, but was not cleared up over the 3 days this occurred. There is only one tap to serve the entire touring area of about 18 pitches, and it runs straight onto the nearest pitch (no drain available). There is no green space for children to play in (balls games are also not allowed), and you cannot access the beach directly from the touring area as it is fenced off. Cars and tents jam-packed the small area available for campers whilst I was there. There is a curious system of electrical supply in the middle six-pitch area that requires the pitch farthest from the supply point to run a wire down this camping area past the other 5 pitches. I went into the on-site bar for a drink at 10.10pm on a Sunday and was told by the barmaid that the bar was closing (various excuses were stated), despite a notice on the bar door that said the bar was open until 11.30pm on a Sunday. At £16 a night I don't believe I received the facilities I reckon I was entitled to, and would never go back again.

Weekend visit. Clearly a site designed for statics - 3 long rows of them. Touring pitches at far end, and very busy. Good-sized, level pitch with EHU available. Site right on lovely beach, and backing onto golf course. Shop ok. Bar open, restaurant closed. However, one toilet block - basic at best. Toilets not cleaned at all. Press button showers warm & free, but with fixed shower head, no screen, no chair / stool so your gear gets wet! Lots of evidence of vandalism, and as the toilet blocks are locked (key via £5 deposit) it can only be being caused by fellow "campers." Toilets broken, broken bottles/glass - clearly not the fault of the owners, but nonetheless it wasn't cleaned up. No dish-washing facilities. Bins overflowing etc etc. Overall not an enjoyable experience - will definitely not be back!

Very clean site, every pitch is level. Nice and quiet site. Soap and hand dryers provided in shower/toilet blocks. £12.00 per pitch per night. Shop, pub, entertainment all 100 yards from touring pitches. Nice meals, lovely beach right outside caravan park. The golf course at the end of the site is well recommended.

This site is very clean and tidy, on the beach front and we didn't have to book. There are only a few tent pitches and the site is mostly static vans. The bar was shut one night at 10.30 pm which we thought was a bit early. The toilets are virtually empty as the static vans use their own bathrooms. A very quiet site on a beautiful beach.

April 2003 Clean and tidy site , toilet facilities are basic , a bit old but clean and functioning . The park is mostly static vans but does have around 15- 20 tourer pitches , on site bar also does a very nice meal and is very reasonably priced . A bonus is the fact you virtually step out of your van and your on the beach , great beach for long walks . All in a good site.
