For such a beautiful location, the site is really poor. I can accept the sloping ground; the impenetrable windbreak and canvas compounds erected by seasonal pitch holders; even the rudimentary toilet and shower blocks can be tolerated despite the intermittent water supply and abundant wild life. But to have a power voltage that can barely boil a kettle let alone have a light on to do so is asking too much for the £16 per night.
Fortunately, the weather was glorious and throwing the reset switch on the hook up roughly 30 times in 4 days helped with our exercise.

Recently camped at this site, for two nights over a weekend. The price was £12.00 per night. Site was basic with female and male toilets, sinks and shower cubicles. Although small, they were clean, with a good supply of toilet roll, but the hairdryer was not working. The camp was about an half an hours walk across the golf course or an hour down the beach to get to Tenby. Two lovely country pubs about five minutes down the road. Had a lovely stay but unfortunately would be reluctant to go back due to the attitude of the site manager and his clear dislike of young people (me & my partner are 25 &27),which I felt was totally unnecessary.

July 2005 We've stayed at this camp site now a couple of times. its best to get there before 9 as the manager might not stay on site over night.
It costs only 8 pounds a night per night for tents , which is cheap. The site is basic but interesting. As it has an RAF base close by so you get to see fantastic air displays over the week. Dont be put off by this though as unless your looking out for them you'll never even know they're there.
On site you have the basics of showers, toilets, water and electic hook ups. 5 minutes down the road you have two lovely pubs (food is good) and a post office where they sell everything!
This site is perfect for those who like to enjoy the experience of camping. even children enjoy it here.
The site is being updated in the winter with new toilet facilities as they could do with a little TLC. But they are always kept tidy and have many toilet rolls so theres never a shortage. Two showers in each male and female section but I've never had to wait to use one.
We've never needed to book before arriving as we tend to get there thursday morning which is the best time to get the best spots.
